Started looking for ways to deal with prostate issues in my 50s... Saw Palmetto seemed to help some for many years, but as I've gotten into my 60s, I needed something more... As others have stated, waking up numerous times at night to urinate, weak stream, dribbling, the whole lot. The doctors want to prescribe all sorts of pills, which I watched my Dad and others struggle with for years, so no thanks. Tried these supplements on a whim and WOW, they area a game changer for me at least. Wake up once, maybe twice at night now, sleeping better than I have in years! Seems to work. I've used this in the past and stopped using it for some period of time. After some time, I started using it again with little effect (used up old product). I switched to another product and that didn't do anything for me (Vital Prostate Support by Vital Nutritive). Once that supply was used up I bought a bottle of this product (Now Foods Supplements, Prostate Health) with a dosage of two tablets per day in the morning. Immediately I saw a tremendous difference. I was getting up many times a night and in one dose, I only got up once and really didn't need to. So what is the difference? First the Now formula is totally different from the Vital Nutritive product. The Now product has way more Saw Palmetto and Plant Sterol Complex, from there down, Now has more other root extracts that help with other things I don't have an issue with but you may find those additives may help you. The other thing of note here is to use fresh product. I think these things have a short shelf life.

I took this product late at night and noticed results the next morning. Like another reviewer on here, I noticed the lack of pygeum. I added Swanson pygeum 250 mg (per 2 caps). I can't tell which one made the most difference because I started them both at the same time. I only take 1 capsule of the pygeum because everything I read said the max recommended dose was 200. The one capsule of Swanson puts me right at 125 which is still more then the other formulas. Yes it's an extra purchase but even with that, still cheaper than the ones that come with it. I was able to empty my bladder that first morning. I do push some but when I'm done, I'm done. Next day, same thing. I take the full recommended dose just before bed. I usually eat late too so the fat from food is still in the stomach. I didn't see any other reviews that said 1 day results, but I'm here to tell ya, I did. Maybe I was right on the edge where just a little bit helped. It also may be the pumpkin oil. That's a lot and it's probably the main reason the capsules are so big and you have to take 3. So far, highly recommend and even if it only works for awhile even just 2 days of relief was worth the entire purchase price. It also gives me hope that there are things that can help. Thanks for making this product! Edit: Still working. Several weeks now. Same results. Don't want to stop either product I mentioned to see which one made the difference because I don't want to risk a permanent reversal by stopping either one. If it works, don't mess with, I always say.

I took another highly-rated supplement for years. It seemed to help...but I always wondered how they could get all those herbal aids into dry tablets without losing potency. So I decided to try this gel supplement. I noticed a difference in frequency after several days. After several weeks I also noticed differences in urgency and night time urination. Before I usually got up 3-5 times a night. Now I get up twice and the second time is almost my wakeup time. I slept six hours last night without getting up to urinate. So I recommend this product enthusiastically.

I'm a 72 year old man who's had prostate issues for decades, with frequent night time wake ups, night time incontinence, prostatitis, etc. Upon taking this product, for TWO DAYS, I actually slept 5 hours without getting up, something that hasn't happened in 20 years. I was getting up 4-5 times a night, now it's 2, or 3. Also, my stream and stop and starting is MUCH easier each day. I would caution users, be patient! This worked dramatically in the first five days, but then tapered off considerably after 3 weeks, but is still much better than without using it. It did not fix night time incontinence, but it has greatly improved! I've also noticed a drop in urgency, emptying bladder much better than before, and much less frequency during the day time hours. I was skeptical of saw palmetto alone, which my physician suggested, as I saw no difference at al with several of the highly rated supplements here on Amazon. The NOW supplement has two to three times the ingredients most prostate supplements have, which seems to have worked. I'm so thankful I didn't give up and tried this one, as it offers significant relief for long term prostate issues sufferers.

After reading a bunch of positive reviews I thought this product will work much better than Saw Palmetto since it has multiple ingredients in addition to Saw Palmetto. I gave it much time to see if it will work. Unfortunately it actually is less effective than just plain Saw Palmetto. There's no doubt everyone doesn't respond the same way so it may still work for some people. I just didn't notice any better efficacy than Saw Palmetto which also cost much less. Please note that you have to swallow 3 capsules every day which is inconvenient for me.

I had recurring prostatitis for 1 year now, and i ve been prescribed antibiotics and alfa blockers many times already. Still the painful symptomes were always there, difficulty and frequent urination, discomfort the whole day, low sex drive bcz of the constant pain. Since day one i have seen 50% imrovment, and 2 days later everything is almost normal. I dont know if this is a permanent treatment or you're meant to take it for the rest of your life, but at least it works, better then the useless harmful antibiotics and the ugly side effect of alfoo.
