These packs of cauliflower and broccoli rice are similar to the cauliflower rice only variety I buy from a supermarket in London. With difference energy fat calories and salt and carb intake as shown in the images. I much prefer this as they have added broccoli and are much cheaper and extremely tasty on their own. Although I am used to bland tasting products without needing to add anything to add flavour. Nice texture, nice odour, and good quality. I will be buying them in future as I'm now on a keto diet. ps. It has a 14 month life span say the expire date.👍

Was getting really bored of keto but discovering this has opened up new meal ideas and is helping me stay keto friendly. Flavour wise its resonably neutral which is ideal and its quick and easy to prep in the microwave.

We buy both the cauliflower and the cauliflower and broccoli mix. If you're paleo, the cauliflower version is much more suitable, but if you're not this helps mix it up. It's really really good for dieting, it's close enough to rice that you barely notice and it's less than half the calories. I don't think half a packet is a reasonable portion size, usually with ordinary rice it would probably be enough, but as it's low in carbs it isn't quite filling enough, but it's guilt free, as the whole packet is only 50kcal and if you check the label it doesn't list anything nasty. Despite being vegetables, the expiry is really good, a lot of our packets don't go out until the start of 2022. If you need a longer shelf life you're best going for the cauliflower, our broccoli mix always seems to be capped at 9 months. We used to use frozen from Iceland as its cheaper, but this is so much easier to flavour your rice with. I make Mexican, special fried and egg fried. I added up my kcals and it's still <100 depending what I use. It is quite damp so you have to figure out how to make it work, it's like fully cooked rice even when you pan fry it. It's easy enough to make egg fries rice but things like Mexican style rice can be difficult as you can't add more moisture. Using a spray oil (like fry light) really helps. I've found using a little bit of tomato puree instead of tinned tomatoes gives it flavour, but it's easy to overdo.

Tastes good mixed with other stuff. I had a veggie chilli with it. Be warned though, stinks awful when its cooking, like dog farts. Will definitely order more, just cook with back door open !

Fantastic product, a bit bland on its own but considering its cauliflower roce what more would you expect? However if you fry it with a bit of sauce from the disk you have made it soaks in all the flavour and is nice. It's even converted my cauliflower hating partner to eat it 🤣 When you are eating it the texture gives the impression of eating actual rice. Excellent value for money when on offer. Will be a stable product to have in now and am going to put it on subscription 👍

I have bought quite a few of these packets as they are tasty, high fibre and very low calorie, but on the last two occasions I have come across tough bits of stalk about 4/5 in each packet, its not nice to have to remove from your mouth and put around the side of your plate, hoping they sort the quality control out soon as they are very handy on a diet.

Really enjoy this it’s a godsend for my diet and is filling without eating carbs. One packet is 2 servings it’s perfect and a good price. Tastes good too.
