THE KIND, GENTLE ASSASSIN OF MOUTH BACTERIA.
Letโs be real about original mouthwash: it tastes like weaponized battery acid. Swishing with the classic stuff feels like volunteering your mouth to be power-washed with liquid napalm while your eyes well up with tears of pure regret. I used to look at the bathroom counter every morning and think, "Is minty breath worth sacrificing my entire tongue?" Then, I met the diplomatic peacemaker of oral hygiene: Listerine Cool Mint Alcohol-Free Mild Mouthwash. Why This Blue Fluid is an Absolute Game-Changer: The 99.9% Microbial Purge: It claims to kill 99.9% of germs that cause bad breath, plaque, and gingivitis. Think about that number. That is a ruthless, systematic evacuation of the microscopic villains living in my mouth. I had a heavy garlic pasta dinner last night, followed by an iced coffee, and woke up this morning feeling like a pristine alpine meadow. Itโs a total biological reset button. The Zero-Alcohol Diplomatic Immunity: As clearly labeled on the neck of the bottle, this formula is Alcohol-Free. This means you get all the legendary germ-slaying power of regular Listerine, but with zero burning. I poured a capful in, braced myself for the usual fiery explosion, and... nothing but a cool, pleasant, refreshing breeze. I kept it in for the full 30 seconds without doing a chaotic tap-dance over the sink. It's civilized. Mild but Methodical: Don't let the word "Mild" fool you. It doesn't mean weak; it means it doesn't view your tastebuds as enemy combatants. It gently wraps your gums in an icy embrace of essential oils and leaves you with breath so crisp you could confidently whisper secrets to a wild grizzly bear. The Morning After Test I used this rinse before a high-stakes morning meeting. Usually, I'm popping mints every five minutes out of sheer paranoia. Not today. I spoke with the absolute confidence of a man whose oral biome had been scrubbed clean by an elite team of tiny, arctic angels. The Verdict If you enjoy the sensation of your mouth being set on fire by high-proof alcohol, keep buying the old-school stuff. But if you want to eliminate 99.9% of bad breath germs while enjoying a soothing, arctic-fresh swish that doesn't trigger your fight-or-flight response, this bottle is your new best friend. A masterpiece of merciful engineering.

Breath So Fresh, Even My Dog Respects Me Now
Iโll be honestโI used to think mouthwash was optional. A nice little โextraโ in the grand scheme of oral hygiene. But after using this alcohol-free Listerine, Iโm wondering why I spent years walking around with a mouth that was only โsort ofโ fresh. This stuff hits different. The cool mint flavor isnโt that aggressive, burn-your-gums type of situation, but it still leaves your mouth feeling like you just chewed up a whole ice glacier. And the best part? Zero alcohol, so no more feeling like I just did a shot of antiseptic every morning. Now, letโs talk about effectiveness. This bottle promises to kill 99.9% of bad breath germs, and I believe it. Morning breath? Handled. Post-coffee dragon breath? Neutralized. That weird aftertaste from eating onions at lunch? Gone like it never happened. Iโve been using it for about two weeks now, and my mouth genuinely feels cleaner, longer. Even my dentist complimented me last visit, and usually, that guy finds something to lecture me about. One thing I noticed is that this doesnโt give that super harsh โtingleโ like regular Listerine, which I used to think meant it wasnโt working. But nopeโturns out, you donโt need to feel like your mouth is on fire for something to be effective. It freshens up the breath, helps with plaque control, and doesnโt leave my tongue feeling like it got scorched by mouth lava. Plus, itโs great for people with sensitive gums since thereโs no alcohol to dry everything out. Would I buy it again? 100% yes. I never realized how much of a difference alcohol-free mouthwash could make until now. My breath stays fresh longer, and I no longer have to brace myself for the โmouthwash burnโ every night. If youโre tired of that traditional Listerine face-melting experience but still want a deep clean, grab a bottle. Your mouth (and everyone you talk to) will thank you.

Effective & Great Tasting Mouthwash
My husband swears by this mouthwash and won't use any other brand or formula. He states that the flavor is great and it cleans the entire mouth with a simple gargle and swish for 30 seconds. He never has bad breath so he must know what he's supporting in terms of product claims.

Leaves/Causes film in the morning, but is truly extra mild & seems effective
seems to work great and effective (gives that refreshing feeling on the gums where it feels dried out and thoroughly washed through & sanitized), is truly "extra mild" as it surprised me at how much it does not sting, BUT... it leaves a film (as I learned from other reviews, "piling" or "pilling"; if not straight up peeling) and burnt skin residue in my mouth by morning! It is extremely unnerving...! It's not that it taste nasty (or like anything, really), and you simply swallow it, but it is sticky & clumps together and ends up with me finding clumps and swallowing them like 3-5 times in the end. And one thing I haven't considered until I just now read other reviews is how unnerving and concerning this is to a medical standpoint; this might be signs of seriously doing more harm than good! I, for one, don't mind it too much (it would be different if it tasted nasty, or had a different grosser consistency [though, for many, this is probably gross enough]), and didn't think too much about it and chalked it up to being extra too effective in cleaning and is a cost of its effectiveness. But I can see it as a definite turn-off for everybody else, and wouldn't blame them. It definitely leaves me with not so much caring whether I continue with this product or not (though I really don't want to lose how "extra mild" feeling it gives, as my wife also really hates how other antiseptic mouthwashes can be as spicy as they are, and she's perfectly fine with this). As for other reviews -- where they are complaining it's not leaving with a minty refreshing taste or feeling -- it seems they just got so used to regular Listerine that the lack of punch puts them off; but that is literally the point of "extra mild". It's an extra mild form/formula to the alcohol & mintiness & antiseptic. And the one review that 26 people found helpful which suggests to rinse it with water a great number of times afterwards to combat the film that develops, rinsing your mouth with water a great number of times after literally washes away and reduces all the positive action the mouthwash ends up doing. Actually, if you can not rinse after brushing your teeth (with toothpaste) and/or mouthwash, that would be the best/most effective -- though I absolutely can't imagine leaving toothpaste in your mouth the whole night, every night (ugghh).

Great product
This Listerine is much better being alcohol free. It has a light taste to it. Easier to use every night. Would purchase again.

Fresh breath!
I use it first thing every morning for fresh breath. It seems to keep my breath fresh a good while. It also has a great taste. It's one of the best mouth washes I've used in my 60 years.
