My medical school's biochem faculty highly recommended it, and many of my classmates agree that this book was indispensible. The questions it asks are well beyond the scope of what we learned in our course lectures (many diseases were referenced that I had never heard of!), and so it really allowed me to get a good idea of where I stood, and got me up to speed on unfamiliar material fast. Don't be surprised if a lot of the questions in this book completely stump you. That might discourage you (it did me), but it means you can learn a lot from it! The answers to the questions are explained so well, I hardly needed to consult reference material as I studied this book.
