I spent more time cleaning off the old adhesive residue from the original pads than I did installing the new ones. So far I’m finding them very comfortable and don’t see any issues. Just received today. Super excited to resurrect my old Bose OE SoundLink headphones. The original ear pads had degraded and were falling apart and getting sticky, black petroleum based gunk all over everything. These new ones work great. Fit perfectly and were easy to install. I was surprised there was no adhesive on the new pads, but when I saw how they installed it made sense. Really nice product. My headphones only had a serial number, didn’t have a model or a name number so I needed to get in touch with Bose to get the correct information. I had ordered a set that were not exactly right and had to return them, but once I had the correct type; on ear as opposed to over ear, the fit was wonderful. Just a little tricky to get the seal in the crevice, but just a little patience does it. I recommend these as a very suitable replacement over the $60 pads that Bose provides.
