Nice Ink Cartridges
Tiny cartridges that are easily to install in your fountain pen. The 2 shades of blue are very similar. There isnt enough contrast between them to justify 2 shades of blue. Other than that, the other shades are nice. My ink was not dried up. It flows very nicely through my pen. Overall, great product!

Nice selection
I've purchased these before and I love the way the ink flows. Not expensive and with a nice selection of colors, these are perfect for the family who still uses fountain pens, right now we have three fountain pen users in the house and the ink does get used. So far so good.

Good flow, fast drying but had to be dipped in water after it sat for a few days to get the ink to flow.
I've only used one color so far (the green) and it was decent. It flowed well and dried quickly. Even with fast writing, scribbling and quick lines it didn't skip. I scribbled out a 1/2 inch square, waited 5 seconds and got very little smear from it. The only complaint I have is that I set a pen up and tested it before reboxing it and wrapping it as a Christmas present. Five days later when it was opened I had to dip the nib in water to get the ink to flow again. Either the ink dries too quickly, the cap on my pen doesn't seal air tight or there is too much space inside the cap allowing the ink to dry in between uses. My high end fountain pen can sit on my desk for a week and writes first time when I uncap it. I'll have to throw some Montblanc ink in my pen when the green runs out to see whether it's the pen or the ink that's causing it to not flow after only 5 days.

Great Value!
Overall great value. I bought these to work with my Jinhao 250 pens to add some variety without having to buy a lot of ink I probably won't use anytime soon. I'll agree, the green isn't the best. The one thing I didn't see mentioned is the boxes are not marked with the color so you really have to look closely at the brown and the blue in low lighting. I only mention it because it looks like there are two boxes of black which you may or may not need. It makes sense, though since that's usually the preferred color. I'm happy. The red works really really well-a nice bright, crisp red and the same for the purple. Don't really have a use for the other colors at the moment. NOTE: I may have changed my mind about the green. This is on a soft, cheap paper. It seems to like the glossier, less absorbent papers better. Here is a sample. IMO, green isn't one of those colors often used for every day writing, at least not for me. Enjoy!

Low cost great ink
Gullor offers some of the best international ink cartridges in a bunch of fun and conservative colors. I know that fountain pen afficianados will tell you that bottle ink is the way to go...But lets face it klutzy people like me have no business trying to ink while living. This is a happy compromise and the cost per pack is so low you don't feel bad buying enough to last you a lifetime.

Average ink, just be sure it will fit your pen.
I purchased this set with the intention of having one fountain pen for each color so that I could switch as needed. I intend to use them with 8 PCS Jinhao 599 Fountain Pens Diversity Set Transparent and Unique Style) this set of Jinhao pens, which the cartridges fit just fine. Since that set didn't include a purple pen, I also bought this pen by Hero Classic Fine Nib Fountain Pen Purple . I bring this up because I want to warn anyone wanting to use these cartridges with the Hero pen. These cartridges are smaller (I'd estimate maybe about 10% smaller in size) than the Hero uses, although I did not know that until I tried to use the purple cartridge in that pen earlier today. So for anyone who, like me, is new to fountain pens, I wanted to warn you that these do not work with Hero pens. That said, if you have one of those cartridge adapters for your pen, you can (very, very carefully) pour the ink from one of these into that and use it that way. Just be warned that unless you come up with a way to do that that's better than the way I did, you'll probably end up with your fingertips stained from the ink. You can get most of it into the adapter, though, so the real issue is the mess from the transference. Given the hassle of doing that, though, it's probably best to just buy bottled ink at that point. Now onto the ink itself. It's very pigmented and flows well from the pen -- almost too well, as I've experienced it depositing too much ink onto the paper and some of it bleeding through to the other side. The edges of the letters also bleed a little so that the line doesn't remain clean. On the other hand, once its dry it's not going anywhere. I've washed my hands several times and even tried using Purell on them hoping the alcohol inside it might help, and the stains from the aforementioned adapter incident haven't so much as budged. If you need your ink to last, this will definitely do that for you! I like the variety of colors, though I don't really have a use for two different versions of blue ink given that the included shades aren't very different from each other. If you're using your pen to do something formal or professional, where you need it to look classy, I probably wouldn't recommend these cartridges. The bleeding, both at the edges of your lines and through the other side of the paper, doesn't produce a professional, quality look. Also, if you got any on your hands, looking professional is pretty much off the table at that point since it's proving (so far, anyway) impossible to wash off. However, if you're using this for something like a personal diary or informal written correspondence, these are a much better fit for that price point. It'll definitely last should your descendants ever want to read your personal writings! And above all else, make sure your pen takes international size cartridges so you don't end up with purple fingers like mine!

Smooth, steady light pressure ink flow.
Beautiful, smooth flowing lovely color. It seems they hold more ink or last a bit longer than the "thorton" brand of assorted color pack. i also bought to try. (The thorton's stop and start in flow somehow, and do not last for as many pages of writing. I will definitely purchase THESE again over the Thorton assorted color. I also like the slimmer tip that tapers out to the length. This loads and clicks into place smoothly and with less "force" than required in other brand cartridges. I am brand new to calligraphy, and really was becoming frusterated with learning using the Thorton brand. Upon switching to these, the flow was remarkably different, enabling a smooth steady writing flow with much lighter pressure to the "nib" and making my learning experience much less frusterating. I guess all inks are NOT related equal? Lol.

Found out there's a trick to loading these.
Very fast shipping. Cartridges are indeed international size, so make sure they'll fit your pen. The first one I tried to load didn't want to go in, so I tried poking the bearing out with a fork and it took quite a bit of force. I cracked the seal and tried again and it worked fine. I also realized that the top is a little smaller than your average cartridge of this size. The opening is the same size but the surrounding plastic is smaller. This makes it easy to miss the spot when putting it in your pen. So between missing and the bearing being stuck it was hard to load normally, but after poking the bearing out it works fine. That's the trick. Results may vary.
