Ultimate Corrector 5-in-1 Palette - Cream Concealer for Dark Circles, Blemishes & Scars - Color Correct, Contour & Highlight with Buildable Full Coverage

As strange as it sounds, this actually really is a full coverage foundation that feels weightless on the skin and looks nice. That being said, applying it properly is recommended. I don't recommend using your fingers and sticking them into the foundation. Invest in a small spatula tool to take the foundation out of the container and then use the tool of your choice to apply to your face. I prefer using the Beauty Blender with this because it provided the most natural look and applied evenly. I have very dark under eye circles and scarring from acne and I was very pleased I didn't have to use a lot of product to cover everything. My normal makeup routine is applying corrector, foundation, concealer, and sometimes even more stuff over of that. This was full coverage enough that I did not need much else, I did use a little concealer with it (Beccas ultimate coverage concealing cream) in my very dark areas. Some people like to set the foundation with Ben Nye Banana powder, I actually prefer Makeup Forever HD powder. I can't stress enough that you don't need a lot of this, that it does not feel heavy, that it looks like skin, it's breathable, but you do need to apply it correctly, and for me it helped to set it with powder. It is a creme texture. It does not show up matte or too hydrated, it just really looks like natural skin. The #3 palette works well for yellow undertone- I am South Asian and this was perfect for me. I am a makeup snob because of my skin issues and wanting everything evenly covered. I think this palette is great for a professional makeup artist because it has a variety of color choices and does what it says. It's also small and portable. However, it is good for someone who is not a makeup artist who is trying to find the right shade. Cinema Secrets lists the names of each color in the palette on the bottom so you can order the exact color match for you (Cinema Secrets sells the individual shades as well). I am so pleased that I am considering trying more Cinema Secrets products. I hear their foundation primer is really excellent as well.

Are you looking for a contouring kit? Foundation with amazing quality...STOP and order this. The price is insane for what you're getting. In actuality, the colors are darker than pictured (the photo has to be of a different pallette) but it includes colors for every skin tone. This is THE perfect contoring kit, as you have every color needed for every skin tone. I run a comsmetology buisness and am a makeup artist, and Cinema Secrets is the ONLY foundation I use. The covereage is unbeatable, especially if you have a skin condition like rosecea. This is used in all the movie/TV shows. Though I love the coverage, I see some complaints that it's too heavy for some. Use a foundation brush or blender, add a bit of water and it will thin it out a bit. But I never have to do this on any clients. Perfect wedding makeup, as you won't have to do touch ups, as it stays on forever, and photographs exceptionally well. This can truly give you a flawless finish if used appropriately. A must have in every makeup kit- amateur or pro!

I'm a professional make up artist and had the pleasure of making up the bridal party of a locals wedding. Her bridesmaid almost started to cry when she saw the bags and lines disappear from under her eyes :) It is excellent for coverage. If you have drier skin this product is perfect, as it is a bit on the oily/heavier side (it is TV makeup, after all). I had to order some for her and have it shipped, she bugged me about it for two weeks ;) And yes, I do quote, she said it took ten years off of her face. I set it with MAC translucent finishing powder, applied the concealer with my fingers. Only complaint besides the texture is that the colors are perfect for mixed and lighter African American skin, however it has a yellow or green undertone to it, which is more complimentary to Caucasian women and men, or of Greek descent. Us mixed women tend to have a more reddish undertone.

I usually use Mac foundation(NC40, I have olive/tan skin) and have used the Kevin Aucoin sensual skin enhancer( full coverage but extremely thick and takes time to work with). I really love the cinema secrets foundation palette the most( I'm using #3) for highlighting and contouring. I love to use this product especially for on camera work such as TV and photography because it requires less touch ups due to long hours on set. I also purchased graftobian setting powder in banana cream and it really looks beautiful, and to finish I use a tiny bit of HD powder from Extreme close up for touch ups. This make up is long lasting and has excellent coverage. I did not breakout from the long wear.

Item came in promptly. the quality is amazinngg. I have many concealer palettes but I finally found one that has the exact corrector and of amazing pigmentation I've ever used. My dark circles are hereditary unfortunately and a lot of correctors and concealers don't quite do the job of minimizing the appearance. It also doesn't help me when I have less fat/muscle where my eye sockets are so it makes my dark circles more prominent. The palette I purchased (#01 correctors) has the perfect pigmented shade to hide the dark circle look and make it look normal! I love this palette! Better than my make up forever concealer palette and many other pricey ones I've purchased!

Maybe I had higher expectation before the purchase, this palette does meet my need in terms of creating different colors for concealing, but apparently it provides only medium coverage (I don't have any spots that are extremely dark at all on my face). The texture is rich and will not dry out the skin, which is very good. I also have Laura Mercier secret camouflage concealer palette, which is a star product for concealing. It provides stronger coverage, but is more dying than cinema secrets correctors.

Its good, but it seems to be on the heavy side. So it creates some streaks if your skin is not too tight under eyes.

Was very disappointed that the packaging has apparently changed - there is no concealer brush included, nor is there a space to store a brush - and that this was not reflected in the product photos.
