Great cardio machine with a small footprint for intense workout in limited space
I love this machine! But, I decided to update my review to describe a problem and report the solution. The pulley wheels became damaged after a few months of use (the rubbery black material flaked off, see first two photos) and the machine became noisy. (It did still work, however). This is an issue that others have written about. I had several exchanges with the company and was told I had to buy the part (it was past warranty) but it was not available for many months, probably because of supply chain issues. That was fine, because the machine worked; it was just noisy. Today I received the new wheels and they are a different material! It's a hard white plastic/nylon (see third photo) instead of the black rubber. They were easy to replace (with allen and socket wrenches) and now it is quiet again! I assume that Sunny changed the material because of the reports of the black wheels breaking down. I'm writing this now to let people know that, if their CardioClimber has this problem, it can be fixed. The wheels cost only $18 per set plus $10 shipping. Customer service was great, by the way. Otherwise, here is my previous positive review. I do still love the machine. Our space is limited (a small alcove off the dining room) and it is perfect for that. It is more challenging than a regular elliptical because it has a climbing component (however, this does mean that the horizontal range of motion feels shorter than you might expect with an elliptical; it doesn't bother me at all because I wanted the climbing feature). The 8 resistance settings are very useful...I often do intervals and ramp up the resistance, alternating with easier settings. It had a couple of minor defects (that didn't prevent its use) and I was able to easily reach the company by phone and email and they are mailing parts, though shipping is delayed, probably due to demand during the pandemic. I recommended this to a friend and she loves it, too. Also, it feels very sturdy and well made and putting it together was quite easy. Directions are clear and all parts are packaged and well-labeled. It's very quiet so I can listen to podcasts or music, or watch the iPad, while using it with no distraction at all. While it is heavy, which is necessary for it to be as sturdy as it is, the wheels are convenient for moving it when needed. By the way, the company has some very good exercise videos, for this machine and more generally.

Great Workout, Great Price; Noticeable fat reduction in 1-1/2 weeks.
-Assembly I purchased the Sunny Health & Fitness Performance Cardio Climber - SF-E3911 on August 22nd, 2020. It arrived in excellent condition, with no damages. Assembly was straight forward, and all the tools necessary were included. Assembly took approximately 30 minutes. The most time-consuming aspect was unpacking the climber; it was packed remarkably well. -Use I have climbed approximately 60 miles on level six since the unit’s delivery. I am a naturally thin person; however, I do have some unwelcome belly fat. Impressively, I have noticed a considerable reduction in said belly fat within the very short time that I have owned the machine—translating to about a 1/3 to ½ reduction in fat, over the one and a half weeks of ownership. Additionally, it is important to note; I have not changed my diet or exercise behaviors. The fat reduction is the sole result of using the elliptical. I have ordered other exercise equipment, that with which, I plan to use in tandems with this elliptical. But for the purpose of this review, the elliptical has been beyond expectation. -Likes * Assemblage was a complete breeze, and I have had no issues operating the unit. * I am 6ft tall and the unit operates just fine with my height. * The results from the workout are undeniable. * The workout is extremely intense, relative to the price of the unit. * The unit is not jerky during use. I am 140 lbs. -Dislikes * I am not sure if the unit were designed to work in a reverse direction; when I exercise in reverse, the unit makes a different noise. * I wish the unit had a greater horizontal stride in addition to its vertical climb. However, this was clearly indicated when I purchased the unit, and I am happy with it. Though, store ellipticals with longer strides feel more comfortable for my stride.

WORTH THE MONEY
I DON'T LIKE GYMS--EVEN BEFORE COVID. I WORK OUT IN MY GARAGE. I HAVE A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT FOR CARDIO/WARM UP, AND A BENCH PRESS WITH CAST IRON WEIGHTS AND A FEW DUMBELLS. IT'S VERY "OLD SCHOOL." MY GARAGE IS NOT CLIMATE CONTROLLED--IT GETS HUMID IN THEIR IN THE SUMMERTIME--SO IT'S REALLY NOT WORTH IT TO ME TO INVEST IN AN EXPENSIVE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT THAT WILL PROBABLY START DEVELOPING RUST ISSUES IN A FEW YEARS. PLUS, IT'S BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT HOME MACHINES BREAK WITHIN A FEW YEARS REGARDLESS. SO THE WHEN MY SCHWINN 411 RECENTLY WENT UP I HAD TO GO ON AMAZON TO LOOK FOR SOMETHING NEW. AFTER SEARCHING FOR A WEEK I FOUND THIS. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE: $250. YOU'RE GOING TO BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND SOMETHING DECENT FOR THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY. I'VE ONLY HAD IT THREE WEEKS OR SO, BUT I REALLY LIKE IT SO FAR. IT WAS EASY TO PUT TOGETHER--JUST TIME-CONSUMING. IT TOOK ABOUT TWO HOURS, BUT IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN I'M SURE I COULD DO IT WITHIN 45 MINUTES. I'M NOT HANDY AT ALL, BUT THEY CAN'T MAKE IT ANY EASIER. THE BOLTS AND WASHERS COME IN A BUBBLE BACK WHERE EACH STEP IS LABELED. AND IT'S ONLY LIKE SIX STEPS. IT COMES WITH A HEXAGONAL TOOL THAT WORKS OKAY, BUT IF YOU HAVE A TOOL BOX WITH TOOLS I'M BETTING OTHER TOOLS WOULD BE FASTER AS SOME HAVE SUGGESTED. I DID IT BY MYSELF, BUT IF YOU HAVE A FRIEND OR LOVED ONE TO HELP OUT, THAT WOULD BE BETTER FOR SOME OF THE STEPS. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE REVIEWS COMPLAINING OF IT BREAKING AFTER A FEW USES. IT SEEMS STURDY AND WELL MADE TO ME. I CERTAINLY DON'T FEEL NERVOUS USING IT. THE MOTION IS A FUN MOTION. TO ME, IT'S A BOUNCY MOTION, LIKE BEING IN A BOUNCE HOUSE. IT'S BASICALLY A STEPPER. IT'S REALLY NOT LIKE AN ELLIPTICAL AT ALL. AND THAT'S FINE WITH ME. I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO KEEP MY BUTT LOOKING GOOD AND IF ANYTHING WILL DO IT, THIS WILL. EVEN AFTER ONE USE I COULD FEEL MY BUTT WAS TIGHTER. AND IT DOESN'T HURT MY KNEES. AS SOMEONE ELSE NOTED, IT'S YOUR QUADS THAT FEEL IT, BUT NOT THE ACTUAL KNEE JOINT. IT'LL GET YOUR HEART RATE UP AND GIVE YOU A WORK OUT WITHOUT QUESTION. I'M BROKEN OUT IN A SWEAT BY MINUTE TEN. MY ONE COMPLAINT IS THAT I WISH IT HAD MORE TENSION OPTIONS. IT ONLY HAS EIGHT AND I FEEL THAT THE FIRST THREE ARE KINDA LIGHT. SO I'VE BEEN STARTING ON LEVEL 4 AND ENDING ON LEVEL 6. BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS FOR $250. THERE IS AN UPGRADE AVAILABLE TO THIS THAT I WAS ALSO LOOKING AT, BUT ODDLY ENOUGH THE REVIEWS FOR THAT ONE WERE WORSE THAN THE ONE. AND AS I SAY, THIS ONE WAS CHEAPER, SO I WENT WITH THIS ONE. IT'S ONLY BEEN THREE WEEKS, BUT I CERTAINLY RECCOMMEND IT. I'M GOING TO TRY TO UPLOAD A SHORT VIDEO BECAUSE THEY TRULY ARE THE MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS. HOPE THIS HELPS, B. P.S. DON'T BE A DUFUS AND PUT THE FOOT PADS ON BACKWARDS. THE LIP GOES TOWARDS THE FRONT--NOT THE BACK. OH- I DO WITH THE FOOT PADS WERE A LITTLE BIGGER AS WELL--I FEEL A LITTLE CONSTRAINED BY THEM. BUT AGAIN I WAS COMING OFF THE SCHWINN 411 WHICH HAD HUGE FOOT PADS.

Buy this if you'd like something that breaks in six months
So this machine was GREAT - while it worked. Then the belt started to squeak and and the pedals hitched. I contacted the company, but as they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE, I had to wait several weeks for an email reply. When they finally replied last month, they said they would send a replacement, which I thought was amazing customer service...until the new one arrived in a totally destroyed box (thanks, Fedex). Although all of the zip ties and such they use to secure it were busted, it looked otherwise ok on a Friday evening after a day of work, so I spent two hours assembling it after taking pictures of the box and everything inside it. With the old one next to it in a very crowded room, I got on it to try, and a loud popping sound occurred, causing the pedals to freeze. They were now completely locked and couldn't move! I got off and looked at the front of the unit, which comes intact so you don't do anything with that part. To my surprise, the black plastic housing was actually cracked clear through. I didn't even notice until then, though I now can see the crack lines in the pre assembly photos. a peek inside the cracks revealed that everything in the assembly had fallen apart, belt and all. I called the company - voicemail as usual - then sent pictures and video. I heard nothing, but now with two huge machines and a huge torn up cardboard box, I had the new busted one hauled to the dump on Saturday. I didn't have room for it and they didn't ask for the original one back, plus at approx 120+ lbs, I never assumed that they would pay Fedex to bring it back to them. WRONG! I've just heard from them after calling 10 times in succession (sometimes a human will answer...). Apparently, they want the broken replacement back, even though it was truly garbage. Obviously that isn't possible, but I pointed out that they certainly could have the original one back as it still is here, barely functional but my only option until it fails completely. No, they want the one I had brought to the dump, even though they never asked for the original one. Obviously, I should never have mentioned that I disposed of it (paying to do so, btw). It clearly doesn't pay to be honest. However, buying a product from them isn't a good idea, either, given what they've now decided to do. Meanwhile, they have everything they need to file a claim with Fedex for the loss, courtesy of yours truly. Currently shopping for one from NordicTrack, which can be assembled in my home and is made by a company that both answers their phone and makes a quality product. Sunny Fitness' product was the only one available within a reasonable amount of time during the pandemic, so I bought it. However, there now are more options available, and I can't encourage you strongly enough to explore those before ever considering this machine - or anything else from this company. Good luck to you if you still buy it, and feel free to reach out when you need a replacement option; I'll be happy to recommend alternatives.

Disappointed with this machine
I purchased this machine for $245.00 about 11 months ago and after 10 months and 2400 calories later it started to squeak and click on the right side. My husband tightened the bolt and it stopped but shortly after that the left side started squeaking and clicking. He tried to tighten the bolts on the left side but it did not help. After further investigation the pulley was bad. He called customer support and was told to go online and fill out the required form and someone will get back to him eventually. I am very disappointed with this machine and would not buy it again and waste my money. Sidenote: I am the only one that has used this machine and weigh 135 lbs and have not even used it a whole lot.

Incredibly Easy Assembly and Great Value for a Home Gym!
I recently purchased the Sunny Health & Fitness Cardio Climber Stepping Elliptical (SF-E3911), and I can’t say enough good things about it! Hands down, the best part of this unit is the ease of assembly. I’ve never seen such a simple and well-thought-out setup process. Each part was clearly marked, and the assembly manual provided step-by-step directions that were a breeze to follow. The parts even came on a piece of cardboard with clearly defined labels AND pictures of the pieces, bolts, washers, etc.—so even after removing them, I could easily identify each item and its corresponding part number. It took me a generous 25 minutes max to assemble, and I’m not particularly handy! Pro tip: Having a 1/2” socket helped with the bolts, though everything you need is included. Once assembled, the unit operates quietly, the computer works perfectly, and the ease of use makes it ideal for a home gym. We opted for the classic version, and it offers plenty of benefits for our goal of 1-2 years of use before upgrading (thanks to the progress we’ll make exercising!) to a more expensive machine or possibly joining a gym. The value for the price is fantastic, and I highly recommend this elliptical/stepper to anyone considering it. Sunny Health & Fitness really hit it out of the park with this one!

really liked it... at first
Lets be real. You always get what you pay for. Compared to a bowflex or proform, this is a great price. I bought this like most people, wanting to lose some weight, but maybe not %100 sure I was gonna stick with it. Got it assembled and set to work. The Electronics on it are really lacking compared to the counterparts that cost 3x+, but I didn't mind. What I didn't care for was durability. About 3 months in, using it for about an hour a day, 6 days a week, the wheels that glide on the rails, started coming apart. The were pitting really bad. Contacted support and under warranty they told me they'd replace them. It took FOREVER to receive new ones and in the mean time I tried using the machine anyways , but I think the vibrations were causing knee pain. Anyways, got the new wheels, and all was good, for a bit, but then the squeaking and creaking kicked in. Really annoying. Didn't matter what I tried tightening or greasing, the noises persist, whatever I turned up the volume and try to drown it out. But then, about 10 1/2 months in one of the arms that the pedals attaches to straight up split. The tube split a cross from where there were some side plates that were clearly poorly welded. Customer service tells me that parts only have 180 warranty and this crucial piece is a part and not considered "frame" and therefore is out of warranty. On top of that they told me they couldn't give me a price to replace, cause there is no stock or ETA on the piece. Btw I am well under the advertised weight limit of the machine.. So bottom line if you're committed to losing weight and plan to really, truly use this everyday, I'd stay away from this one. Save the frustration and just spend the $for the quality. Mines going to the curb...

Much Better than expected!
To my experience, I got the package prestine and well secured. I assembled it easier with my personal tools and came out pretty sturdy than expected. What I like about this is the mechanics is a bit similar to bowflex M3 series but smaller and quiet that perfectly fits my apartment. I took some picture about the joint where most people compained it broke, which I dont see that coming from my unit, it does not swivel as well on my wooden floors where there is a level adjustment as shown in picture. The resistance also pretty good in which I stay at level 3 or 4 and enough to burn my quads and gluts. These are my concern upon reading the reviews before purchasing it but I stand corrected. Iconfidently say its a great personal elliptical/stepper perhaps the best in its price range. Update: 10/6/22 So far the machine is great except the battery operated screen/timer. It makes an annoying sound and you cant turn it off unless you take off the batteries. A simple on/off button could have helped.

Superb. Fabulous quality great price
Fabulous quality especially for the price. So easy to put together and included are all the tools you need in superbly separated and labeled packaging for the nuts and bolts, spanner, screwdriver (on end of spanner) and Allen key with easy to follow instructions .... amazing. I built on my own and managed to put together in about 1.5 hrs but I went slowly and methodically building it making sure all nits and bolts as tight as I could get them. Absolutely wonderful to have in a smaller apartment ... for those wanting a simple measurement it’s about the same length of an electric scooter. Smooth action and so happy with my purchase I would highly recommend especially for those who may have a fear of building yourself ... the hardest part was getting it out the box ! Professionally packaged and wonderfully protected. Just take time with each simple step and you’ll be as happy as I am. I additionally purchased a yoga mat for it to stand on but the weight of it is sturdy enough without one, but as a precaution if using on tiled floors I’ll keep it on the non slip mat.

Excelente producto
Muy fácil de armar, muy silencioso al momento de usarlo, me gustaría que los pedales estuvieran un poco más separados pero es bastante cómoda, se realiza un esfuerzo mayor que con la bicicleta elíptica
