I thought that our patio furniture would be fine since it’s covered and not exposed to the sun and elements but didn’t realize that I would have to constantly deal with cleaning off bird poop and cobwebs. It’s ridiculous and not a fun chore, so that’s why I wanted to get a patio furniture cover to protect it from birds and insects. The size of this outdoor patio furniture cover is 83”x52”x29”. It says that it can fit 6-8 seats, but it barely covers my 6-seat table so I would probably only recommend this for 4-6 seats and get a larger size for 8 seats. The coverage depends on the size of the furniture, especially the depth of the chairs. Please measure the dimensions of your furniture carefully beforehand.This is made of black Oxford polyester fabric with PVC inner waterproof surface. It has a water-resistant coating and a laminated backing. The material is tear-resistant and can protect furniture from UV rays and avoid exposure to high temperatures, along with protection from such elements as wind, dust, rain etc. What I like about this cover is that there are four (4) velcros on each corner which helps tie down the furniture and keeps the cover from blowing away. There are also adjustable straps on both sides to better fit your furniture and to keep the cover secure and tightly on. There is also an adjustable hidden drawstring on the bottom to further keep it secure. Since patio furniture is relatively flat, it is suggested to place a tall object underneath the middle part so that water and debris can flow down and doesn’t collect and get stuck in the middle. Even if bird poop falls on the cover, I simply use my steam cleaner to clean off which is easier than having to clean off the entire patio table set.
