I ordered these after comparing all the offerings available for these parts. I selected mainly on being one of the if not the lowest cost option with the components i needed. These are very light, but generally good quality parts. I did clean up some casting burrs where the hoses clamp on, particularly the mold seam lines. Once those were cleaned up, i threw everything into exsiting 20 year old hoses, and used the supplied seal for the water outlet flange. An oem thermostat seal was used for that housing. Happily, the vehicle does not have any leaks, these parts not only look great, but are metal so they offer the durability that never existed with the original composite parts. This is a set that i would certainly re order for another car.

The Upper Coolant Hose Flange that holds to temperature sensor does not fit. (original part number 06A-121133-AH) The flange and hose arrangement is completely different. Ended up installing a plastic fitting from a local Auto Parts Store. I had already installed the thermostat housing and one of the other aluminum fittings from the kit, before discovering this, so left them in place. However, the thermostat housing leaked at the hose using the OE Constant Tension Clamp. In the end I reverted back to plastic replacement parts. Wasted a bunch of time and coolant.

Perfect product perfect fit what more to say a quality product with an exceptional price

Quality is okay. I definitely can't recommend. The coolant temp sensor does not fit correctly unless you use a slightly larger o ring then stock. There's quite a bit of burrs/hanging material and you definitely don't want that stuff in your engine circulating around.

Cheapest set on amzn buy it if you can wait 2 weeks for shipping, I had to do a head replacement, cracked cylinders, I had the time to wait so I saved 5 bucks and put it twards a 10mm polydrive headbolt socket.. every dollar adds up in a job like that..
