Don't be scared it comes with that factory setting so you can configure it since if it came with the manufacturer's footprint it would have to go to your house to change its footprint for yours.Once you have the lock open, what you need to do is close the lock and leave it pressed for approximately 10 seconds, once the lock you see a red LED start to flash then release the lock and this time you will continue placing the finger that you want to Open the lock. The lock lets you place up to 6 different tracks, this means that we can make up to 6 people open the lock.Once configured, we can only enjoy it and let me tell you that I love it a lot, since the padlock has a super nice design and the material is super good, although I do not recommend having it as a main lock in a house, since this Lock is designed for lockers and places where we can store something for now. It should be noted that once you buy the padlock you read the manual before you start configuring it so you can understand it better and tell them that I will leave a few pictures because as I always say a picture is worth a thousand words.How the fingerprint works!The truth is that this fingerprint sensor surprised me a lot since it is super good and reads the fingerprint instantly, I have no complaints about this product and if I had to rate it I would give it a 10/10 ..

This lock came packaged well inside of a tight fitting insert. The overall finish is a nice brushed aluminium look with shiny chrome hasp. The clear charging port cover is very inconspicuous and does a good job of keeping the water out. After charging the lock overnight set up was a breeze. I will say I have a biometric safe and a smaller size lock for my gym bag. In under 10 minutes I had the lock programmed for me, my mom, and my grandma. A small tip I tend to use the ring finger on both hands for setup as they normally do not get as dirty as my other fingers. Also setting a spare print of your none dominant hand gives you a backup in case you cut your finger. I noticed that this lock is a little more finicky in taking prints than my other 2 padlocks and my biometric safe. I am guessing it is because it is the only one of the 4 biometric items I own that is IP67 waterproof not just water resistant. This lock has been used on an outdoor storage unit for about 3 weeks now with no problems getting opened atleast 5 times a week. It makes having quick access to the unit by multiple people a breeze.

I love the idea of this lock, the flaw I find is probably going to occur across all locks of the same type. Im going to use it after the gym and after a shower or swim my finger print isnt recognized.

If you have short memory and hard time with the 3 code number as I do. Go forward with this fingerprint locker. Before I had to have my number written in a piece of paper because I couldn't memorize it. I know it sounds silly, but I'm in my 40's and I have other things in my mind. This is a very sturdy and modern locker for gym and we have set it up for the 4 of the family use it. Totally approved!

It is a 5-star Fingerprint Padlock, but the User's Guide and the setup is terrible. First of all, a half of it, written in Chinese language, and it does not provide detail instructions.I was able to configure my admin finger print only after several hours of playing with the lock, and only after several days I was able to add a second finger print (basically, after I watched the video on YouTube).

Love this product. I tested it with friends fingers and it would not open. Only when I used my finger on the scanner it would open. Very fast and responsive

This product worked fine when I first got it. However, on my first trip to the gym it was extremely difficult to open back up and I had to try for 5 minutes to get it to open, while my lunch hour evaporated. So, I used it 2-3 times with difficulty each time. Then everything shut down and I haven't used it. The battery died and I recharged it. However, now it won't open at all. I'm very frustrated as it is attached to my bag and I cannot use it nor get it off my bag. I do not recommend this product at all.

Used it as a gate lock for 2 months and suddenly it was not responding at all. It was fully charged 1 week ago. Most likely it was water damage because after I dried it with a hair drier it started working again. Surely I can't trust it anymore.
