Wicca
I first found this book in a library and decided to use it on a project that I was, and still am, working on for Anthropology. I wasn't sure how much help it would've been, but once I started to browse through it and the information it had, I was glad that I'd checked it out. The more I looked through it, and the more it helped me on my project, the more I wanted to have it for myself. It was a shock when the version of the book I bought was so different than the one I'd checked out, but I was still happy to have it. It's very insightful in the Wiccan Year and all of the celebrations they have. I'm very happy and I came across and book like this. Anyone who has an interest in different cultures and traditions or who has an open mind should read it; if you're someone who frowns upon such things then don't read it and don't bash the people who do.

Typos!
I really enjoyed this book. It had simple and easy rituals to follow for each Sabbat. It also included history and lore behind each holiday, I really enjoyed. It made the year much more festive! My only problem was... the book contained a few typos and errors in wording. Some were bad enough, I wasn't entirely sure what the sentence was trying to say. It was pretty disappointing, since this is a finished product... but it is what it is.

Little used, but bought it new?
About it brand new and it looks like a used one ... I didn't truly mind but if you do then it's good to know.

The Wiccan Year
If you are looking to build up your reference library on Wicca this is a great book to have. The book is done in an old fashioned stlye to make it look as old as the hills, but the information is new to read, at least for some.. The author has mixed the currrent views of the wiccan holidays with the orgin of the holidays. The spells and rituals included in the book make for a nice way to start a tradition of what was included without leaving you to feel that they are the only was to do so. A good read for a book of introduction to someone who may not practice Wiccca, but wants to learn at least about the holidays.

The Authentic Year
What is simple, elegant, insightful, and steeped in ancient tradition? The "Provenance Press Guide to the Wiccan Year" by Judy Ann Nock of course! Reading this book offers optional ways to celebrate and/or honor the Seasons and everything in between. Besides, my own "witchy" intuition tells me that Judy is an authentic Witch, teaching what has been given to her. Blessed Be and enjoy!

Very helpful
This is a very helpful book about the seasons and the wiccan year, but it does run on a lot and there are foot notes that fall in areas that make it hard to follow. I would buy from this seller again, the product was in excellent condition and the price was perfect. Shipping was fast.

Nice little book to have
This little book is very gorgeous. The cover has an old, creepy, book of shadows effect and the pages are torn at the ends to make it look kind of old. I really love that. This book goes over a little bit of history of each of the holidays and has a few rituals to every holiday as well. The things I didn't like is that it didn't go over things you could add to your alter and it didn't go over any items or symbols for that time of year or things you could eat. It's still a nice little book though and I enjoy it. The things I am looking for can easily be found online. Great buy.
