works like a charm however when connecting it to older monitor models you may lose connection frequently other than that it was absolutely amazing and i’ve used it for a long time now. It’s very easy to install as well. The cable length is very good considering the price.

Spot on, bought, plugged in and works

...if like me you happen to have an old screen that only has a VGA connection but a spare Mini PC that can be used for virtually any purpose. The Mini PC has HDMI outlets and the screen is VGA which presented me with a problem - by a new screen or find a way to reuse the old screen? The HDMI to VGA, Benfei Gold-Plated HDMI to VGA 1.8M Cable was absolutely the ideal answer and my old Acer screen came springing back into life and will allow me to keep all the various software and spurious data away from my main computer as well as limiting the exposure to on-line intruders! The connecters at each end of the 1.8M cable are very well made and the VGA connecter has easy to use threaded screws to ensure a solid connection to the monitor. Overall there's nothing not to like about this product and as you may have guessed - I am actually using this item and believe it to be of very good value. Good item for connecting a desktop to an older monitor connection point

It was great for a few weeks, but suddenly the cable stopped sending a signal to the monitor - well, it does, but after about 1/2 hour from switching it on - it looks like a cold solder joint on electronic components. And it looked so promising. Overall OK, but I think I got a slightly faulty cable - statistically, this can happen.

He usado este cable para conectar un portátil con salida HDMI a un monitor antiguo VGA y funciona correctamente. La señal es estable y la imagen se ve bien para uso de oficina y presentaciones. La instalación es sencilla, sin necesidad de configuraciones complicadas. El cable se siente de buena calidad y los conectores encajan firmemente. Evidentemente no es para usos de alta exigencia gráfica, pero para lo que está pensado cumple perfectamente. Buena relación calidad-precio.
