Its a nice stick
I have always liked McDermotts, have had a few through the years. I recently started playing pool agaion, and needed a stick but didn't want to spend the $300-$400 for a higher end stick so i bought this one. It is a very high quality cue, and worth considerably more than its price tag. Solid wood joint, like all mcdermotts, very smooth shaft(After a little slicking and buffing. Hate any finish on any shaft) and a decent tip. It is very pretty and shines like a new penny. I couldn't be happier.

Fantastic cue for the price
Pretty standard beginner cue. Shaft is straight and smooth, tip is glued, weight is balanced, joint is pretty solid, design pattern on the shaft isn't too flashy. My game has significantly improved over using bar cues. I don't think I'm good enough for a nicer cue, so this is about it for ROI if you're not doing anything fancier than basic draw/stop/english.

Poor packing, was just thrown in a box to flop all around. Arrived with a few nicks on the shaft from that. But still a nice cheap cue

Pretty solid cue for how cheap the price was. Tip needed a bit of work but it shoots great.

Not a big fan. I have always like McDermott sticks but this one rattels when used like something is loose and I cant find anything. I was hoping it was 19oz as standard but I think it is 18 or less. I can feel the difference between it and my 19oz.

Great pool stick
My husband says he plays better with this stick. It is sturdy and great quality, looks nice and was a great price. Made a great Christmas gift. Would recommend.
