Oatmeal Crisp with Hearty Raisins Cereal, 18 oz (Pack of 4)

Prior to purchasing this cereal on Amazon, I read several reviews of the cereal. Not even one mentioned that the raisins would be as hard as little rocks.I have four boxes of this cereal and in the first box, the raisins have been un-chewable. In fact, most were so rock like that I had to spit them out (gross huh?) I guess I'll let the cereal soak in the milk for a few minutes. Maybe that will soften up the raisins a bit??Am I the only Amazonian having this problem with this cereal. If so, aren't I special?Maybe the remaining three boxes will be better. If not, I guess the pigeons will eat it.

I had been looking for a cereal that I can eat every morning. I found one at Costco many months ago, a brown ring-shaped cheerio-type in large discount container. Then Costco stopped carrying it and regretfully I could not recall the brand. I've been looking for it ever since, if anyone knows what I'm talking about please let me know.But this cereal I can also eat everyday. It's like the other raisin cereal you can find in Walmart, but the other kinds usually have thin untasty flakes, and too much raisin or too sweet. This one is balanced and yummy.

This is the best cereal i have ever had. When i was having a hard time finding it i stock plied as much as i could but now i,m without.Please bring this back !!!!!I ,m having withdrawal.s>>>>>>Nothing compares to this cereal.!Trust me i tried buying other boxes and its nothing >> not even close to oatmeal raisin crisp.

This is our favorite cereal by far. It has a good amount of fiber, but does not have that cardboard-like texture of some other cereals. The flakes don't get soggy and the oatmeal clusters and raisins are very tasty. This is hard to find locally and the few stores that carry it are often sold out. It was amazing to find that I can get it through Amazon, at a better price than we had been paying. I ordered two to qualify for the free shipping, and they arrived earlier than I expected.

I am a fan of whole flakes in cereal as opposed to the thin crumbles found in some cereals. The full-whole flakes in the Oatmeal Crisp remain firm and crunchy from first bite to last (as do all General Mills cereals I have tried). There are plenty of big juicy raisins in every bite and the mildly sweet clusters in the cereal are the icing on the cake.A very hearty, healthy and delicious adult cereal that even a kid can enjoy.

Aw man. I just came to reorder this stuff, which is something because I mostly eat randomly, and saw in the Q&A that General Mills said they're not making this anymore. Maybe these eleven dollar boxes I'm seeing now are just 'old stock' (stale) then?Shame; I liked it.

This is a delicious cereal. The flakes do not get soggy when submerged in milk. I love the raisins, because it adds just the right amount of sweetness. The whole family loves this cereal. It comes in package of 4 boxes so it can last quite a while. I'm never disappointed, because the cereal is always fresh!

I truly enjoyed the ceral and bought it from Amazon because our local WalMart stopped carring it. The shipping makesit pricy and I have since found a local store that carries it. It is a great alternative if one can not find it locally.
