The inner lining has completely come away from the leather at the top of the bag. One of the leather strap-holders has become stretched, which requires constant readjustment of the straps to make them of equal length. And the final straw, the stitching has completely unravelled down one side, so the zip is coming away from the bag. Downgraded to one starβ€”worst purchase ever.PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT.I bought this bag as I wanted an alternative to my cross-body bag, which was putting strain on one shoulder. I chose this particular one because it appeared both fashionable and functional. Arrived quickly, but easy to see why it's sold for considerably less than its Β£198 RRP. It has a couple of minor faults, as follows:1) The leather straps are poorly cut, with some showing a red 'siding' and others a white, so that it looks odd (pictured)2) Due to the poor cutting, there is actually a cut right into one of the straps of my bag (also pictured)3) The leather on the straps is cut from different length pieces, so again, it looks odd when worn (also pictured)The following are not necessarily production faults, but things which I don't like about the bag:1) The inner lining is very cheap and feels plastic. For a real leather bag (which this is) I'd expect a better material to be used for the inner lining. I've had bags from Debenhams which have a very nice silk-feel lining, whereas this one looks (and crinkles) like carrier bag plastic.2) The zips are very harsh. If you catch something against the zip (long nails, a trailing scarf, etc) then it's going to be shredded. The teeth on the zip are very deep and angular, so take care when zipping or unzipping the bag.3) The bag is touted as being from an Italian designer and being made from Italian leather, but is made in China. Which probably explains...4) The baffling care instructions attached on the card (pictured). The first instruction is: "Leather: Keep it from Mars." I have absolutely no idea what this means, and I wasn't planning on leaving the Earth any time soon. Very poor care translations.5) The metal parts look very brassy. Much more than is implied on the photographs.6) The straps are leather sewn onto fabric, rather than being pure leather. My bad, I should've spotted that from the photographs. Still, it was an unpleasant surprise, as I'd expected full leather straps.I don't believe any quality control is implemented in the creation of these bags, otherwise the care instructions and the long cut in my leather strap would never have passed muster.The bag functions. It carries items and it's pretty comfortable to wear. But in terms of quality and aesthetics, my expectations have not been met by a considerable amount. If you're looking for a cheap leather bag and can overlook a few flaws and oddities, then this is a good bag.
