MyGift Small Clear Gray Glass Decorative Vase, 6 Inch Diamond-Faceted Flower Bud Vase, Set of 2

I chose these two vases to use for rooting plants and/or for growing some water varieties in them. Both are well done and attractive. The mouth is large enough to get roots in/out of the vase. They are a soft gray which does not detract from the look of the plant. Best of all is the great price for two vases with such charming looks!

I assumed these would be a shiny, glossy, NORMAL glass, but they are dull and more rough in texture. At first I just thought they were dirty or something…although that would be a little crazy since they were brand new… but they have a feel to them that makes me want to wash them. Doesn’t matter though, no change after washing. I think it’s whatever is on it that’s coloring it gray. Other than that, they were pretty much as expected, color and size wise. The texture just really throws me off and makes them seem cheap. I paid $15 for the set, not a lot of money, but I’d say that’s over priced for these. They will still serve their purpose as I was going to use them for some quick, easy centerpieces and then give them away.

This vase set (of 2) were the perfect size and shape vases to accent a larger centerpiece arrangement on the top of our bookshelves in a parlor. The vases with greenery inserted were used to either side of the centerpiece to complement it, not overshadow or detract from it. The grey tint cut glass vases have an understated elegant look and the shape of the top the the vases allowed the greenery to spread perfectly at the right height and width for what we were trying to achieve with them.
