We purchased this specifically for a backyard BBQ family gathering, and it was SO fun! My husband was a bit apprehensive that our adult kids and grands would even be interested in playing, but turns out it was quite the hit! Good quality, bright colors, and clear instructions (for those of us who’ve not played croquet in many years). Highly recommend!

The quality is not that great, as compared to what I used as a kid. The wood used for both the mallet head and handles is not very dense (i.e. not very strong - reminds me of balsa wood). As a consequence, you have to swing pretty hard to move the ball any distance as there is no weight to the mallet heads. I was afraid of breaking the stick handle. I'm guessing it won't hold up to a crew of 8-15 year old children very long. The set needs a bit of TLC handling. It is playable, but overpriced for the quality.

Had a blast playing and teaching others to play. So much fun for a park day with friends. The set is decent for the price. As long as you don’t play too rough with everything, seems like it should work well for a long time.

Great for beginners!

Definitely not high quality. I can hear inside the balls rattling like they're crumbled after playing a couple games with the kids. Mallets are a little small and super light. Just not a set that's built to last. Wish I could get a refund

We opted for the slightly longer mallets (32in) for this set with the eucalyptus wood heads. The mallets seem to be well made and have stood up very well to multiple games played over a rare sunny weekend. They are a comfortable length for adults (I am 6ft 1) and for the shorter members my family. The weight of the balls seems just right. This means that, with a normal back garden lawn, the balls travel up to 5m with a decent strike. This is just right for our garden and means that we don't keep losing the balls in the flowerbeds. The gates are generous in width and a little light but they are fine for our level of game - enthusiastic amateurs. The bag is more than big enough and is reasonably sturdy. I am glad we spent a little more on this set as it seems to be just right for our needs with no drawbacks.

Delivery was very prompt but the product itself was not what I wanted.

The set is perfect for family gatherings. We used it last week and had a great time. Age range :- 73 to 9 !! The set is made of sturdy materials and should last a long time.
