I happened to have an unopened 5kg bag of dishwasher salt which the scale weighed as very slightly under 5kg, which might well be correct. Based on this I think it fair to say that this scale is accurate.The display is very clear and stabilises quickly. It turns off quite swiftly after use to save the batteries. It's a nice looking thing in black. It is easy to use.It is not so accurate on a soft surface such as carpet, I discovered. It prefers a hard surface such as a wooden or tiled floor. On a soft surface the reading is lower.

Gone through many scales, some expensive brands however, this one is most definitely THE ONE.Big display so your not struggling to read, big space to stand so no wobbling, lovely stainless steel finish makes it quite modern, great quality and price...This is definitely the one especially if your weighing the dog 🤣

Chose these after reading a newspaper article about bathroom scales. They are somewhat larger and heavier than I was expecting but do the job. Lovely large illuminated read out. They can be used in kilograms, pounds or pounds and stones. I had an issue changing the readout, but there is an almost invisible button on the underneath of the scales. Very pleased with them.

Very pleased with this body weighing scale to replace rather old Weight-watchers scale that finally expired.No bad comments. I particularly like 3 of its features:1. Very accurate & consistent2. Apart from first use you don’t have to stamp on it or raise it with your toe to start - you just step onto it and give it a couple of seconds to settle then it shows your weight on its beautifully bright large font display - you could use it successfully even in the dark. ( if you could find it )!3. It uses standard aaa batteries which are cheap to replace whereas many others use coin cells which are more expensive and can be more troublesome to replace.Not the cheapest scale available and it has no bells & whistles, but it is high quality, robustly built and provides everything that I wanted.Excellent value!

This is the second I have bought, very accurate. Need to "switch them on" first, otherwise the first reading is spurious, but after that work perfectly. Larger size makes them more stable, especially for my size 14 feet!!!

Bought this to replace a set of analogue scales that are probably as old as I am. Display is big and bold, they feel very well built, really intuitive. The pro's stop there.The old analogue scales could be used on carpet (most of my house is) and gave me a reading of around 16st 9lbs on both carpet and hard floor. The digital scales were giving me readings of about 14st on carpet - not good although I know most digital scales don't so I gave it a bit of wiggle room.I then moved it to the hard floor of the bathroom and even moving it to different places within that room, turning it in different directions etc. I was getting readings from 16st 4lbs to 17 stone 2lbs.With such a variation of just under a stone, even on an optimal hard surface, I can't recommend it, I know I'm somewhere within that region, but I'll still have to go out and get properly weighed because these just wont cut it. For £30 - I expected better and I could've got something with similar accuracy for half the price.
