Review: Very comfortable - I bought this gel pad for my saddle seat because I have been having some nerve pain in my back and I've been getting a little saddle sore. We usually go on long trail rides (5 miles or more) and I needed something to cushion the pressure on the pressure points of my butt.😁 My saddle has a 14 inch seat and this pad fits really good. It hooks onto the horn of the saddle with a nylon loop strap and across the cantle of the saddle with a nylon stretchy strap, so it could easily fit different sizes of saddles. It can be taken off and on easily. I've ridden with it on really hot days and it hasn't gotten too hot for comfort. Haven't ridden in the Winter with it yet so I'll let you know how comfortable it is for Winter riding. So far I love it. It's helped me to not get saddle sore on our long rides. The only drawback I have is that it does slide in the seat a tiny bit but nothing that would bother me or make me hate it. I loaned it to a friend who was thinking about buying one. After trying it out she found that her wool pad was superior to this gel pad. I don't even bother putting it on the saddle anymore. It's just not very effective. **Q: will this slip on a non-suede saddle?** A: No. It doesn't slip. A piece of advise though, keep the cushion flat. If it warms up, then gets twisted or wrinkled, then cools down, it will hold its twisted shape and be unusable. **Q: Does the loop that goes around horn big enough for a Wade type horn?** A: Not sure how big that horn is ..this loop has give I think u could work it over a horn as long as it wasn’t a big Spanish horn. It fits great and feels even better!! **Q: Will this pad help to make my saddle less slippery** A: No, this is only held in place with two elastic straps.
