I dont know how well the paint would stick. They have a coating on them already that leaves your fingers black. **Q: Will these magnets stick to one another ? If so do they hold well ?** A: Yes the do stick together with a pretty good connection. I have paper between them and the hold a few sheets **Q: Will opposing sides repel eachother?** A: grammatical issue opposing vs. opposite **Q: Did anyone ever try to paint these (regular acrylic craft paint)? I noticed someone else asked, but didn't really get an answer. Thanks for your help** A: As Steve west said. Clean with soap and water. Use a high bonding primer such as zinnser 123. Or glidden gripper.
