Great hickory smoke flavor!

I used to get this at Menards, and then they quit carrying it. I’m glad I found a source, and per bag, it’s less expensive than the hardware store.You’d think the bacon fat would be “off” somehow, but it isn’t. It’s just a happy marriage of jerky & bacon. Life sure is good sometimes.

Some of the absolute best, I would order more--but am cheap so I will often order the other stuff, but this is by far my favorite option when I can swing it.

Very satisfying when want bacon but don't want to cook it.

I love bacon. LOVE it. I was so looking forward to trying this product, and never have I been more disappointed. The flavor, the texture, the smell, everything about this smoked bacon was distasteful. One bag had a huge hunk of very hard fat that weighed over an ounce, more than a third of the weight of the whole bag. Even my husband wouldn’t eat this bacon, and that’s saying something. We ended up throwing most of it away, which was particularly painful given the exorbitant cost. Buyer beware.

Hard to describe but they certainly LOOK a lot better than they actually taste. You might expect a bacon flavor but it's closer to a softer but coarse jerky with a hint of bacon. Crumbles into a coarse meat powder with not much flavor.

Two of the bags had tears in them that I did not notice until after I had already opened the packages.

I've had others that were more like bacon this brand seemed to just take pork fat and call it bacon
