Is teflon tape require for installation?

Actually, for a new shower hose, you don't need to use teflon tape. Because the washer and shower head joint can fit perfectly, then tighten without gaps. Also, the built-in waterproof washer design of this shower hose can be installed without tape. The front part of the waterproof washer can be embedded into the water pipe junction, so that the shower hose and the water pipe joint can be tightly connected together to prevent water leakage. If tape is to be used, do not wrap more than three loops of tape around the joint. Too much wrapping will cause the nut at the joint to fail to tighten, causing the waterproof washer to be unable to be embedded into the pipe joint, leading to water leakage. Please note! How long is this length? Is it easy to install?

118 inches ( 3 meters ). Yes, easy to install, it comes with the built-in waterproof washers, and connect G1/2 " thread. Please note that the cylindrical end is connected to the handheld shower and the nut end is connected to the faucet outlet. Tighten by hand. If needed, wrap the teflon tape in about 3 to 4 circles, not too much. Hope that helps!
