Does it include a pouch that holds 20 wood fence pieces and 4 pawns?

Yes. The game comes with all of the pieces that are needed for Quoridor and everything is brand-new and shrink-wrap sealed in the box.

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the box and approx weight?

I just measured and weighed my game box with these results: The box is square at just over 11 inches per side and just over 2" tall and weighs just over 2 pounds.

is there a travel size?

No, this is the large size. You need to look for the Mini version. Amazon ASIN: B00005K423

Is it worth the money to buy the full size? It looks like the travel size would be just as good

I guess it would depend on how many minutes you want to play the game as well as how many choises of movements you want. Your choice.
