Review: A fantastic collection of essays - This book reminds me a little of the 'Dictionary of Gnosis...' by Hanegraaff, Faivre et al. and much like it the writing soars and you will find much here to enjoy. One thing which is very interesting is that each essay is presented in a little bit of a different perspective than those common to the books of Faivre, for example. The essay on Platonism is very different from what you find in the genre-defining, magisterial works of Armstrong, Dillon, Wallis, Finamore and Shaw. The same goes for the editors own entry on Jacob Boehme. But, like I said, that is what makes this book particularly interesting. Thank you.
