Avenger ABF Graphite Baitfeeder Saltwater Spinning Reel

This is a tremendous reel! It's reasonably priced yet very well built. Have used it this winter while ice fishing, and the baitfeeder system is great👍 It's light and smooth and I've caught crappie, yellow perch, pickerel and a 5lb northern pike. I have it paired with a noodle rod and have purchased 2 so far. Okuma reels are really tremendous, I have been fishing for over 66 years and I can highly recommend this reel for ice fishing!

This was our second okuma purchased!!! We were so pleased with the first Okuma reel we bought that we decided to purchase this as a gift for my father along with a brand new rod. The first time this rod went out fishing my dad was literally hooked!! We purchased braid line- 40#, and it was able to hold quite a bit of line. Our dad calls it the lucky reel because he said it catches fish every time. 😂 He has not had any issues, it handles very smooth and for the price you are getting such a quality product.

I love this reel. Is it a Shimano? No. But I don’t need that on a Catfish rod that’s going to take tremendous abuse from fish and to be honest, me, because I am clumsy and hard on equipment. This is a solid, cost effective Bait Runner that let’s me have the fish hook itself (thank you BKK ringed mutsu hooks, I love you so much) because again, I am kind of clumsy. The bait runner feature and the price point on Okuma’s has let me start experimenting with Bait Runners on my ultra lift finesse rigs. It casts well, reels in smoothly, and has solid drag for a reel at this price point, and bonus, it looks nice. For now. Give me a season to beat the tar of it. But since my most used rig is an 8 year old Okuma and I have beat the bejesus out of that and it still works, I am not worried about it over the long term. I have become an Okuma fan girl since I started fishing later in life. These are great value rights for people learning. I would put these on anything I gifted a child, a teenager or someone first learning who needs to learn technique without worrying about breaking their gear.

I love this real it's super smooth has a great drag and the runner system works amazing I recently caught and landed a 26 lb catfish using 6 lb test with this setup I highly recommend it

Pretty good reel for the money! Had a few reservations about the bait feeder system when initially looking over the reel, however once I took it out and actually used it, it works well! The reel is smooth!

Absolutely fantastic fishing reel. Well balanced, great handle for reeling in fish. Looks awesome. Great value for the money.

I absolutely love these Reels I have multiple of them in different sizes I do upgrade them immediately before first use with smoooth Drag carbontex Drag washers and use cals universal real and star drag Greece tan in color on the new washers. I do this because the Reels come with felt drag washers that will eventually, where out and gum up

i used this reel yesterday, loaded up with 8lb line and fished on a feeder rod, caught plenty of fish (carp) and the bait runner feature was very useful, very smooth with excellent drag. Overall very impressed for the price and will buy another one soon.

It's smooth, beautiful and strong at a very reasonable price.
