One of the best pens ever manufactured. For the price, it absolutely cannot be beat. Any energetic pen is a winner, to the point where I swap energel refills into my other pen bodies as an upgrade. The ink dries fast so you’re not gonna accidentally smudge everything you just wrote. It doesn’t skip or randomly get faded and weak. AND it’s smooth as butter to write with. Can’t go wrong with Pentel

I'm one of those fanatical cheap-pen people who mix 'n' match bodies and refills. After trying about 50 pens and many refills, I settled on these pens as being No. 1 most comfortable to me, and I use them with another Amazon-available product: "Uni SXR-7 Jetstream Ballpoint Pen Refill - 0.7 mm". (They fit fine.) Great combo. I now have about 10 bodies loaded with that refill and keep having to stop myself from hoarding more. ;-] But this is just me; YMMV. Pens are personal! P.S. This is now my favorite pen to use! It writes super smoothly and I love how thin it writes. It dries rather quickly as well so I have never had an issue with the ink smudging. Overall a 10/10!

I wanted a .5mm ballpoint that isn’t gel. These are .7mm gel pens that don’t glide like a ballpoint. That being said, they write extremely well for what they are. They don’t smear like most gel pens, and the lines don’t bleed which is impressive. If you like fine point gel pens, you’ll love these.

They write so nice I don't want to use the dozens of other pens collected from here and there over time. I've shared some with others who grabbed mine off my desk at work and commented immediately, "Wow, nice pen.". So I gave them one. It is annoying when I reach into my purse or desk drawer only to find my favorite pen is not there, so I am ordering more because I really like them.
