Stage2 424 2-Way Car Speakers Set - 150 Watt JBL Car Audio 4 inch

Fitted these 4-inch Stage2 speakers to replace the tired originals in my car and wow, what a difference. Everything sounds so much clearer — vocals are crisp, instruments actually sound distinct, and the overall depth is brilliant. They're 150W peak each so they handle volume easily without distorting, even when you turn it up — no rattle or harshness at all. Really well built too — solid cone, rubber surround that feels flexible and durable, proper JBL quality you can trust. 2-way design means the tweeter's built in so it's all one neat unit, and they fit straight into standard 4-inch mounting holes — lined up perfectly with my existing brackets and wiring, no messing about. Even running off the standard head unit they sound great, and they'll definitely come alive more if you add an amp later. Only thing — they're a bit deeper than some budget speakers, so just double-check you've got enough clearance behind before screwing them in. Mine was fine, but worth a quick measure. Brilliant upgrade for the money, proper sound quality. Would absolutely recommend.

Very easy to fit, using tin snips to remove the two unwanted mounts, and an adaptor cable. Sound quality is vastly better, though of course you won't get much bass out of any 4 inch speakers. But clarity is good and the tweeters clean. They are good enough to reveal the massive difference between nasty, compressed commercial radio and CD or MP3 via Bluetooth, and for the price, they are excellent. Sub next!

Good quality + voice with this money

Great sound from these little speakers. Ideal where space is at a premium. Bear in mind they don't come with grilles, so more suited as replacement speakers. Heavy chassis and good quality construction as expected from JBL.

Very happy with the speakers.

Audio quality is no where near as good as Sony or Pioneer equivalent, but build quality is solid. Used to replace the door speaker in my Mini F55, had a 3-way Sony in there before which unfortunately started to rattle and was fragile, the Sony sounded excellent though. This JBL sounds only slightly better than the original speakers, quite muddy with no treble. Build quality is solid and they feel heavy. I would recommend this JBL model as a replacement speaker and NOT as a sound quality upgrade speaker, unless the speakers in your car are really poor.

Good speaker for the price. Replaced some pioneers with these. Noticeable difference and good sound. Good amount of bass compared to the pioneer for a little more dollar

Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit meinem Kauf. Die JBL Lautsprecher haben einen schönen sauberen Klang (ich bin kein Audiophiler, habe also nur ein Otto-Normal-Gehör) Ich nutze sie allerdings auch nur bei geringer Lautstärke bis maximal Zimmerlautstärke, also keine extreme Belastung. Es sind schließlich nur 10 cm, das muss bei der Erwartungshaltung an die Boxen auch berücksichtigt sein. Sicher bekommt man für einen Zehner weniger, Boxen aus dem Einsteigerbereich auch von bekannten Herstellern, jedoch bereue ich es nicht das Experiment übersprungen zu haben. Da ich keine erhöhten Ansprüche habe lohnt sich ein Aufpreis für beispielsweise eine JBL Stage3 für mich (!) an der Stelle auch nicht.

Poor QC, one of them came with loose tweeter. Was able to fix by removing the label and gluing it with epoxy. Sound quality is ok I guess, no clipping when using with the stock stereo in my car.

Good sound, for this price above expectation.

Confezione completa di tutto a differenza dei prodotti HERTZ. Prodotto ricevuto sigillato sempre a differenza di quanto avviene per altri produttori (cfr. quello già citato). Qualità delle componenti e dell’assemblaggio ottima. Qualità del suono eccellente ed anche se utilizzato al massimo e stressato per molto tempo il suono in uscita rimane sempre nitido e non vi sono distorsioni. Unica caratteristica forse poco idonea per un auto è la morbidezza del suono ……. per chi cerca un poco più di bassi….. ma JBL si distingue per questo. Si potrebbe aumentare la potenza della cassa in RMS ma per questo sono presenti altre classi di prodotto offerte da JBL. In definitiva eccellente entry level dall’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo utile per ogni autovettura.
