I get tongue tied and embarrassed real easy. That makes it really difficult sometimes when applying for jobs or having an important conversations with Dr's and schools which isn't good because sometimes I will just agree with them instead of standing up and stating my point. This book talks about ways to start and communicate in meetings or clubs. I love that it has "practice" meetings that you can read to get an idea of what to say and how to say it. That has helped me a lot when it comes to my sons IEP meetings that I have to go to. I no longer feel like we have to do things the way they want they want to because now I know how to talk in the meeting and be able to discuss all of the options that will help my son. This book really has a lot of helpful information in it and although at first I didn't think I would be interested in reading this book, I am glad I did because it has really made a difference in the way I handle meetings.
