Glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews
I almost didn’t buy it because of some of the bad reviews, but I’m really glad I did. This product works exactly as expected and actually exceeded my expectations. It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and gives great results in a short amount of time. It’s a huge time saver and feels solid and well-made. I haven’t experienced any of the issues mentioned in the negative reviews. Honestly, this has been a great purchase for me, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it.

No more expensive cleaner bill for shirts.
Just before I bought this, I took shirts to the cleaners I haven’t watched shirts go from $.79 to $1.79 each over several years but this last time they charged me $3.99 per shirt plus $.50 for the extra starch plus they added 5% for pain with a credit card. I couldn’t believe it, and having crisp, heavy starch pressed shirts has always been to something I prefer. I can’t acquire that at home.. So I started looking and found this steamer. I still don’t know how to get the heavy starch, but my shirts look just as good as if they came out of the cleaners, and with very little practice, I can easily do seven or eight shirts in about 30 minutes. Substantially faster than an iron, the shirt looks substantially better as well, so if you iron your own clothes this is a must have.

Almost like a professional
Save money, no more cleaners, got a lot of clothes pressed as if it was professionally done, got water spots but that’s ok that goes away with the more use. Please understand that this ironing surface might look used but companies do test their products before they box them. Please be aware if you have kids be mindful of leaving it down or turning it off before Walking away. Please be safe when using it at all times because this does let out a lot of steam. Again 100% a great price and please if you buy it also recommend getting a warranty with it.

It’s great, just not for large items
I really liked the SINGER® Intelligent 2.0 Steam Press and it worked exactly as advertised. It heats up quickly, puts out great steam, and does a nice job smoothing wrinkles with very little effort. That said, it ended up being too small for what I needed. I was hoping to use it mainly for sheets and duvet covers, and the pressing surface just isn’t large enough to make that practical. For smaller items it works very well, but for large bedding it wasn’t the right fit for me.

didn't have high expectations, but more then surpassed anything I was expecting and more!!
I hate ironing. That says it all. I took a leap of faith and decided on the Singer brand of presses. Mind you I've never even tried a steam press before so I didn't know what to expect. I knew that I hated ironing shirts, I did it 2ce a week (sometimes more), and it took a good portion of my day. After watching a good number of you tube vids on fast pressing cloths (is everyone still wishing for the Effie Automatic Ironing Machine to come out?) and this seemed like a good idea to cut down the amount of time it took. Now there is a learning curve to use these steam presses. The fist couple of times I managed to 'lightly' burn a few knuckle from getting too close when moving fabric around. I can tell you though, its worth it. It cut my time to press shirts in half, and its a little more fun as well. One of the reasons I went with Singer (besides knowing its a product name I trust) is because there weren't any water leaks when reading reviews and watching videos of the product. If you do research on steam presses (via video) if you spot any water seepage that gets on the board (usually the demonstrator doesn't pay any mind like its normal... ITS NOT!) its not what you want. Water leakage means discoloration and also can permanently mark up specialty fabrics! You'll have to use distilled water for it (only drawback I can think of) but this is quite a well built press I can see me using for years (if not, I'll surely post an update) but I've had it for a good week, and have used it about 5 times already.

BUYER BEWARE - Despite the brand name, no support - Worked for 2.5 months
This steam press was purchased for moderate home use at the end of November, 2021. First the good: - It performs exactly as described -simple to set up - using the additional stand, it's ergonomical and makes ironing go much faster The bad: After 2.5 months of moderate household use (we aren't crazy press-everything people!), the pad developed a hole and began to separate. While surprising that the quality of the pad wasn't better, no big deal, I figured I'd just buy a replacement. But guess what?!?! You can't. After scouring the internet, I finally reached out to Singer directly. I got a response with two phone numbers to call for two different warranty centers (having support direct me elsewhere for 'support' is annoying...and feels like a Comcast move...but I digress....). I call the first number - it rings and rings and rings and then a recording tells me to enter my pin....umm what? I call the second number and it immediately goes to a recording that the voicemail is full - I can't even leave a message. So I return to Amazon and contact Singer's 800 number. I very pleasant lady answered (Hooray for a human to interact with!). I explained the issue and she immediately directed me to the two numbers I had already called....that don't seem to accept incoming calls. I told her this, she seemed appropriately annoyed (with the news, not at me), and started to try to hunt down a replacement cover. She found a pad with the same dimensions sold by NOT singer - she said it "MAY not be the same shape as the Singer press' - so yeah...that doesn't work. After several minutes of her doing what I had already done, I asked - do we even know if Singer MAKES a replacement pad for this machine? She didn't know, but said if they did, it should be on their website, which it's not....so they don't sell replacement pads? Seems crazy....but it also seems to be the case. She apologized and let me know how busy the warranty centers are....and to just keep trying to call them. I asked if there was anyone to escalate this issue to - nope. Just keep calling. They are super busy. At this point, despite the pleasant lady, I'm resigned to writing this review warning others from investing in machines from this company that seems incapable of the most simple request. I'm a busy person too. I don't have time to keep calling phone numbers that don't accept incoming calls. I'm even more angry now that I've felt compelled to spend even more time I don't have to write this review... So now, I'm stuck with a machine that wasn't cheap. A machine that I needed and wanted. And a machine that is completely useless and taking up space. So disappointed in Singer.

But it's NOT 26" across!!
I bought this product to help my handbag making go faster. I was thrilled that there was a 26" available because I use a 25-26" cut of fabric for making straps quite often and this would press it all at once, right? NOPE. The pressing surface is only 24.75" so the description is a blatant lie. I am happy otherwise, but I feel cheated. I certainly would have given another brand a try if the truth and been known. By all means, if it doesn't matter to you whether it really has 26" across that line that they advertise at the unit's longest point, get this machine. Just know that that line should read 24.75" instead of 26". Despite the instruction booklet using a different name for the control buttons than they are actually labelled (:/), it was easy enough to use; but it was sort of silly that you can only use the controls when they are at a slanted angle away from your face if you are using on a table or counter as the unit should be open when setting/reading the functions... another design error, if you ask me. Maybe they expect us to be 6'2" or use it while it is on the floor or something? Yeah, back-breaking labor hunched over a steam press never really was considered fun, and I thought we'd moved away from those inconveniences in the modern era... Could have made the display at 90˚angle to the plate and it would have been better and accommodated all heights. I also do not really like the way the timing and steaming are supposed to be activated. If the lid should be 3" above the fabric for steaming, there should be feedback when you are at the correct distance, and there isn't. And the steam buttons are on the 2 easiest to grasp portions of the handle, so if you aren't careful, you will get steam whether you want it or not. The manual says both that the plate will shut off after 10 seconds and that you should never leave the plate on the fabric for longer than 10 seconds unless you want to risk damaging the fabric. It beeped at strange times in the middle of my 10 second interval, though. It eventually became clear that the beeping is an indication that your 10 seconds are up. There is a WAIT and READY indicator that I —as a short woman— could not see as the display was up when I attempted to do my followup presses. This obviously confused the timing on the unit, so I couldn't figure out what the beeping was supposed to accomplish at first as it did not coincide with my lifting and settling the plate. The manual tells you about the beep, but not very prominently about the indicator. Basically, you should just wait until all indicator lights have activated. The WAIT indicator was sometimes still active when the READY indicator activated, so no idea what that's all about. I have not attempted the auto-steam function as I have not used it with large pieces that would make this feature desirable. I will probably keep this machine, as I plan to use it heavily in the next 2 days and it's not my style to return something after I have used it, but it's a failure to meet expectations and a clumsy interface that would prevent me from recommending it as it is the same price or more expensive than other brands that have good reviews and may work was well and not have misleading information in the title/description of the product.

Heavy but doe a great job!
Love Love Love this - I use it for ironing my cotton white pants that are a real pain to do by hand iron - was able to do it in about 10 minutes compared to over 1 hour! Plus I made several long sleeved Tshirts with iroon ons - did about 20 in about 20 minutes and turned a $5 valued shirt into a $35 value in less than 1 minute! The look great, I get rave reviews every time I wear them and people want to know where I got them! Long Sleeved Tshirts are perfect for cold weather states but they don't seem to sell many that are decorative at a reasonable price - so this standing iron will do all that and more! I would be sure not to use it near kids or pets though as it does get nice and hot! GREAT PRODUCT!!

Consiglio l’acquisto assolutamente. Spedizione veloce e puntuale.
