I haven’t worn a wig since the 1960s, but illness induced hair loss sent me seeking an affordable substitute for my once thick, curly brown hair. I didn’t have much luck with locally purchased wigs so after seeing several YouTube reviews of Haircube wigs I thought I’d give them a try. It took some adjustment to see myself with straight, gray/blonde hair but I couldn’t find a good mix of brown and gray, and the darker colors seemed too stark. After a few days of wearing off and on around the house, I put on my big girl panties and my wig and went out. I got so many compliments, I was shocked! I tried to keep the side bangs but they were bothering me too much. I carefully snipped the bangs to eyebrow length and although I haven’t worn bangs since elementary school, I’m becoming fond of the way they hide my forehead wrinkles! I just ordered another of the same style and color, and one in light brown, too. Wearing a wig has become so normal and easy that even if my hair grows back, I think I will still wear wigs. There’s a lot to be enjoyed in just popping on a ready styled wig and going out the door! Haircube wigs are soft and natural feeling, with a comfortable cap. The color is beautiful and I don’t think the shine and texture looks wiggy at all. I have a pretty big head at 22”, and have a good fit with the straps adjusted in one notch on either side, so it could go larger or smaller. At under $25 you can’t get a better bargain!

EDIT: Since I can’t leave separate reviews per wig, this review is a summary. I hope it helps those in a similar boat of looking for good quality yet inexpensive wigs! I ordered four wigs from this seller, and while two greatly exceeded expectations and were kept, two were surprisingly bad (see below) and were submitted for returns. Wigs reviewed: ombré brown, auburn, ombré blonde, and medium brown. Details per wig: Ombré brown- I kept this wig. Beautiful gradation from medium brown at the crown to light brown/dark blonde at the tips. The ombré is salon quality and looks intentional yet natural at the same time. If you have pink AND gold undertones in your skin like me, you will GLOW with this wig on. Lovely. Note: it is a little lighter IRL than in the product description, but that does not bother me. Auburn- I did not keep this wig. The color of the wig I received unfortunately was nothing like it is advertised. The wig I received was jet black at the crown/top third of the head section and a medium-pale orange with no dimension for the rest of the length. Bummer, because the product description shows a lovely medium auburn with depth and dimension. I did not even try it on, the color was so off. Ombré blonde- I did not keep this wig. The wig arrived with half of the bangs curled in a way that did not match the curtain bangs style advertised or the rest of the wig’s styling - the issue was apparent without even removing the wig from the mesh it came in, so it definitely was shipped this way for some reason. It looked as though someone had already tried to style half the bangs to try out a curly style. Between a concern about hygiene (did I receive a used wig?) and the fact that the product was not sold as advertised, I put it right back in the package and submitted it for a return.. It was also super shiny, unlike the others, and seemed more like a kid’s costume wig. I will say that the blonde portion of the wig was a very pretty and funky take on a pale golden blonde with highlights and lowlights. With the very long, dark shadow root the overall effect was Sis Is Growing Out Her Mouse Brown Roots After Healing From The Breakup That Inspired Her To Go Blonde A Year Ago. Fun, and if that’s the look you want definitely go for it! Medium brown- I kept this wig. This wig is the MVP of the bunch. It’s a gorgeous, not at all brassy, true medium brown that looks and feels natural due to the very subtle but effective brown highlights and lowlights throughout from root to tip. I was worried it would be a touch brassy, but I assure you there is no brass at all even though the color is a touch warm to give it richness. This wig looks like expensive, serviced-in-a-salon-that-serves-good-champagne brunette. After my previous experiences with two consecutive duds, I was concerned about what I’d receive when this wig arrived, but the seller seriously deserves an award for this one (and the brown ombré).

I first purchased this Alanhair wig 2 months ago for $26.99 and loved it. Got several compliments and was worthy of 5 stars. I recently repurchased the same exact Alanhair wig when it was marked down to $19.99. This 2nd wig is different and NOT in a good way. The 2nd wig arrived missing the large rectangle brand name tag with the care instructions on it. Instead it had small generic no-brand round tag without any information on it except the item #. The center part on the 2nd wig is not as realistic looking as the 1st purchase. It's also stiffer and not positioned in the same spot in the wig cap. The cap netting design on the inside is different too which makes me wonder if I received a different brand wig. On the 2nd wig, there is visible wefting near the center part that cannot be hidden with brushing or styling. I did not feel comfortable wearing this out in public. The 1st wig didn't have that issue. The 2nd wig sheds horribly and the root coloring is darker than the 1st wig. The 2nd wig also has shorter hair layering than the 1st wig. It hung differently above my collar bone. I feel like I received a different brand wig due to the differences or maybe I received a wig that's been used and returned and mixed up in the process. I ended up returning this 2nd wig and am apprehensive about giving it another try by it again. I really liked the original 1st wig that I purchased 2 months before this one.

I simply don’t understand how wig manufacturers can use good quality synthetic hair fibers only to waste it while messing up the whole thing as they do a terrible job putting it together, especially where it shows the most: right up front, in the middle of the forehead, namely, the bangs’ lining! But good quality synthetic hair is only partially true as these companies keep using terrible ‘fried’ synthetic fibers to construct bangs in these wigs. Prices keep going up while quality keeps going down! I do however love the hair color on this wig! Unlike many of the wigs that I end up returning here, this wig’s ombré gradient darker shades blend perfectly with the overall blonde hair, which makes this wig look very natural. Unfortunately, when it came to putting the bangs together, they did worse than a lousy job! Obviously, this company’s quality control, if any, is simply unacceptable! I also don’t understand why they use black fabric and threads on light hair wigs, which makes absolutely NO sense! Short of wearing a hat or bandana over it, no matter what I did, nothing worked to cover or hide the gap in the middle of the bangs showing the dark train fabric, which is supposed to go just above and in the middle of the forehead. As you can see in my pictures, they failed to put hair where the bangs part on the top middle where the hair parts and as many wig manufacturers do, this company uses horrible fried hair on the bangs underlining, which is another thing I don’t understand and feel is completely wrong, utterly ugly, unfair and unnecessary. Unless we wear it under hats, caps, head scarves, or bandanas, which defies the purpose for buying wigs, especially with bangs, this wig is NO GOOD! I’ve had to return quite a few wigs that I bought here on Amazon…and regardless of great return policies, considering that we must invest time and fuel money to get to Kohl’s or UPS stores, it’s really never “free” to return anything here! The only reason I’m not returning this wig is because I needed to wear it as soon as it arrived because I had washed my other wigs, none of which were dry enough for me to wear it. I had to wear this wig under a straw hat. It looked nice but obviously, it defied the purpose for which I bought it. Unless you’re buying it specifically to wear with head coverings, I can’t possibly recommend this wig.

I heavily depend on these customer reviews when purchasing wigs so I wanted to be sure to give a review for this one. I wish I had taken a picture of it. This wig was absolutely gorgeous!! I got it in blonde ombré and the color was soooo natural. My mistake was trying to cut too much of a bang in it. The bangs are meant to be wispy side bangs. A full bang doesn’t really work on this wig. I also was hoping to be able to do some updos or half updos with it. Nope. Not happening. As gorgeous as the color is on top, the underside colors…not so much. Bottom line, if you purchase this wig to wear with the side bangs as is and to wear down, you will not be disappointed! It is beautiful. Just don’t plan to do too many alterations. Love her as she is! I did cut about 4 inches off and that turned out ok, so you could shorten her a bit. I ended up trying to do modifications and then “fix” the modifications I did that didn’t work and ultimately rendered her unwearable. My bad. I do highly recommend this for wearing as is.

Love the feel of this wig. It’s so soft like most all haircube wigs they always make you wanna keep touching them they’re that soft. This one is a great cut I really like the versatility of this style it can be put half up bangs shuffled around to one side or split and the layering is right on point. The color is great till you lift and there’s that yellowing orange blonde ugh. 😣 it was so close. But here’s my real gripe with it it’s not centered so you have to have it pulled slightly over to keep ear tabs from driving you nuts and hurting. Value for money excellent no wefts showing color almost perfect but the off part needs to be fixed. Other than that haircube was my first wig and I’ll always give them 5 stars because they’re quality and durability plus cost no one has ever come close to matching there’s! If you see a haircube wig being sold by whoever I don’t think you’ll be sorry you bought it. Just my opinion.

WOW! I was nervous about this because of the non human hair aspect but it's really gorgeous. I am going to have it styled a bit more but it truly looks and feels better than some overpriced human hair wigs. I think it fits fine especially if you put on a cooling pad and the cap plus you can tighten it. The ombre dark to blond makes it look real and up to date. The thickness is nice but it is a bit heavier so may not be great for summer heat. I absolutely love it though.

I was so overwhelmed with the beauty of my wig that I didn't realise that it is not the one I ordered. The wig in the picture is what I ordered and I have been in touch with the supplier who said that Amazon picks the order and ships it. So how do I get Amazon to send me the wig in the picture? Of course I'll keep the one I was sent but I really would like the Platinum one. Bought another one as I love these so much and the price is unbelievable. The color looks black and white but is actually as shown in the photos - really gorgeous. More creamy white and golden brown highlights. Can't go wrong.

Bonjour, Je pensais que je serais décue, vu le prix , et en plus c'est la première fois que je commandais sur Amazon, donc je ne savais pas à quoi m'attendre avec les achats en ligne, que j'ai souvent entendu beaucoup de déception. Ces perruques que je voulais pour la Chimio, sont tout simplement SUPERBE! Quelle fut ma surprise de la qualité pour le prix! La finition intérieur est digne d'un grand couturier et l'assemblage parfait. La qualité du cheveux # 1 . jE RECOMMANDE ces perruques sans hésité les yeux fermés et je ne suis pas payé par Amazon. Au plaisir!
