Fast forward to this year, and I decided enough was enough. Time to face my demons with the Brightedly 16 FT Double Dutch Jump Rope Set. First, the good news: This rope is THE BUSINESS. I’m talking about optimal length, smooth action, and no tangles. I was ready to skip my way into redemption and newfound popularity among adult jump rope enthusiasts. But here's the catch: You can't double dutch alone unless you've figured out how to clone yourself or trained your dog to twirl a rope. This fine product couldn’t solve the adult problem of convincing two other grown humans that yes, double dutching is a legitimate way to spend an afternoon. The real win? After much cajoling, bribery, and emotional blackmail, I got two friends to relive their childhoods for approximately 5 seconds, which is exactly how long I managed to double dutch without tripping over my own feet. Take that, Coach Brewster! So to sum it up, this rope did everything it was supposed to. It’s like the perfect wingman—can’t guarantee you’ll win the date (or in this case, master the art of double dutch), but will make sure you look darn good trying. Brightedly, you're the hero my inner child needed and the adult me appreciates. Fun colored jump rope. Glad I looked at reviews saying to choose a rope without handles--it's easy to turn or tie around a pole. Got mixed-age kids used to jumping by holding it still and doing a reverse limbo game. It's really lightweight, which might be good for kids turning it, and certainly makes it more portable, but it feels a little weird since I'm used to the weighted plastic bead rope type from PE at school.

Heavy duty like a traditional jump rope. Hard to find a good jump rope bc they’re all made of plastic. This is also plastic however it is heavier and can work for jump rope unlike other ropes. Color fades drastically if it gets wet. Easy for my 5 year old to jump in but difficult to tie one end to a tree for me to use with him and my 3 year old and not another adult.

The rope is heavy/sturdy enough to swing around, but light enough to make it easy. Bright color too!

The rope was perfect! It was light weight and made it easy for our granddaughters to learn how to jump rope! Very sturdy!

I've been looking for some ropes to play double dutch and these were perfect! Not too heavy and not too light - just the right weight. Definitely recommend these

Purchased to teach my children to double Dutch which is what I played when I was young. Good hard braided rope, sturdy and strong.
