These are brilliant no more worries of hot water bottles leaking, just pop them in the microwave making sure you keep to the time stated. No more red patches on your body from the heat as they have a good cover that protects them. I’ve used mine on the side of my face for helping with pain. Good size, no smell, lasts longer than a hot water bottle, heat retention 👍 very effective I love mine I bought another two so I have them at the caravan and home.

I have had a hottie for years (I use 2) and they are well used (this one is for my uncle). I recommend to everyone. If you have a microwave oven it is a simple and safe way to have a comfortable source of heat. So much safer than a conventional water bottle (no chance of scalding or leaking). Also safer than a gel filled one (had one split on me and hot contents dangerous). I am taking the time to review this as it is so beneficial. The heat lasts along time and is easy to reheat (do follow time guidelines for the power of your microwave, easy to find as on packet and on Hottie under cover). I find if I get too cold I tense up and my pain increases and I find it hard to warm up again. So though this doesn’t stop pain totally it really works well to ease cause of pain and therefore you are more comfortable. Discreet enough also to take anywhere with you to keep you warmer in office (many places of work have microwave ovens) , on your journey & to events as heat lasts a few hours. Love mine- don’t stop making them. Please note makers - A pair of smaller ones would be useful to slip into sleeves or boots. I can’t recommend more highly. Sx

So Trem here with another 'Review for You'. So, first off make sure you already have a Microwave Oven! That's obviously a complete Pre-Requisite! It's probably a little bit smaller than you realise but that's so it fits in the microwave adequately. The only thing you need to remember is DO NOT overcook the swine! 2 minutes is enough for a 900watt oven. If you happen to go over the 2 minute mark, you may end up with an inflatable balloon! This happened to me once! It looked like an overfed fat little gremlin when it came out! Be aware they can 'Pop' if subjected to too much heat, so be careful. Go by the timings (included) and your new little friend should be fine. Much more better than a traditional hot water bottle in my opinion. It also holds the heat in, so will last much longer. I think 15 pounds is probably a tad expensive, but you do get a nice little fleece cover. Can act as a nice little warmer or even a muscle pain reliever if you get the old aches. Grab one for yourself, especially as the colder nights are upon us!

You won't burn your feet

I love my Hotties Micro Hottie, it gives a nice gentle warmth but it takes a few minutes for the heat to come through the lambswool fleece which is rather thick. Subsequent heating of the Hottie brings out more heat through the cover. I put it in my bed an hour before bedtime, reheat it when I go to bed and it is nice and hot. The hottie remains warm well into the night and keeps me warm through the night, from about 2230 hrs. In the morning it is cold, although underneath has a little tepid warmth to it. So it lasts longer than a hot water bottle. I have tried the inner heat pad in a felted hot water bottle cover and the heat comes through faster and is a bit warmer, although when the lambswool fleece gets warm it holds the heat nicely. If you prefer a thinner cover and more heat you could consider the fleece covered versions but I do not know how thick or thin they are.

So much easier to use than a traditional hot water bottle and its flat so you can put it under your back and lay on it. worth the money

Brilliant but only lasted 2 months before it blew up in microwave , would not buy again

Buscaba un sustituto de mi bolsa de agua caliente para los pies, para no tener que calentar el agua en un cazo, verterla, etc., y es una maravilla. Estuve mirando bolsas de agua caliente eléctricas y tienen un tapón de carga molesto que no me acababa de convencer: pues bien, esta es perfecta. No es una bolsa de agua caliente en sí, tiene un componente especial mezclado con el agua, solo como aportación. Por lo demás, el calor es el mismo, se calienta un par de minutos en el micro, vuelta y vuelta (y sin tener que sacarla de la funda) y alcanza una temperatura equivalente. La funda es de lana de oveja, es muy agradable y mantiene muy bien el calor. Un poco más grande sería ideal, pero entiendo que el tamaño está condicionado por el plato giratorio del microondas. De todos modos, el área efectiva es prácticamente la de una bolsa de agua caliente normal. La recomiendo hasta la saciedad. Parece un post patrocinado pero ¡ya me gustaría!
