Do they work upside down?

The dip tube is usually removable (I haven’t bought this particular product) but if it Is, then yes it can be used upside down. It would tend to drip, but I’d squeeze some air out before flipping the bottle and then releasing it. I think that would work.

Can these be used with acetone, lacquer thinner or other solvents? Water is the only liquid mentioned in description.

I have used it with solvents that are used to clean firearms from fouling
