Old time candy with great flavor and value.
I like candy canes and was delighted to find them available after Christmas from Tam Tam. Brachs never disappoints and the candy canes are flavorful and true to taste! Great value for the price. The packaging was a bit crushed with a few broken canes. It would be better to ship them in a box rather than an envelope.

It’s a box of candy canes.
The only reason to purchase candy canes online is if it’s not Christmas time and your craving candy canes. That was why I bought these. I paid way more than you would at Christmas time in any store. They were broken and that was fine, I’m not hanging them on a tree, I’m just eating them. These candy canes are dying for their designed purpose.

Many broken, and not in shipping.
I wanted some supplements to my tree decorating candy canes. I have had a lot in a baggie for decades, but the tree seemed to call for more.So these were basically all I could get. I ordered some from the grocery store and they turned out to be out of stock. Side issue I really wish the grocery store wouldn't sell me things that they turn out not to have.I haven't counted, but I think a good half of them were broken. Not drastically, and not in shipping, just looks like a manufacturing defect. So I hung the ones that weren't broken on the tree and it turned out to be enough, but I think about half or more were broken, so that raises the price to a buck a candy cane. Not that much for an ornament, but kind of disappointing that I paid for half of what I ordered.Well, I'm lowering this review to one star. 14 of 24 were broken. Not in shipping, manufacturing defect. And I found out how much I overpaid when the grocery store got candy canes that were just as good in stock. I got two dozen for less than $5, and only one of the 24 from the grocery store was broken.

Best premium old fashioned individually wrapped candy canes.
These were the premium candy canes when I was a child some 50–60 years ago.I sent several bags of candy and goodies to a nursing home, which puts together a Christmas sale where the residents make crafts and sell bundles of craft items and candy in a holiday sale to raise money for medical research, or a local food pantry or other good cause. They tell me that the goodies were popular, and everything sold out. I’m glad I got the best premium candy canes for them that I could find to send to these people. Also, the candies are often bought by people stuck in the nursing home, who cannot go outside shopping for goodies. I like to think that they got to enjoy the best candy canes I could find. They tell me that these nice canes came to them unbroken in the original box. Very nice!

If you're going to ship something fragile, you need to know how to pack it
I sent these to my son-in-law because he and his daughter love Brach's candy canes, but they can't find them in their area because they live in the middle of nowhere. According to them, these are exactly what they expected, the perfect thing, except that many of them were broken. Since I sent them to them for christmas, it would have been nice if they had been able to display them on their tree.It seems to me that when you're shipping something fragile, you would take great care not to break it. Apparently this concept is lost on those who shipped these candy canes.

NONE ARE BROKEN!
I ordered 5 packages - 15 boxes of 12 beautiful candy canes each. That’s 180 candy canes in perfect shape. Each set of three boxes was wrapped in so much bubble wrap. Much care was taken in the shipping and I am very happy!

Definitely Not Fresh
I am addicted to Brachs Peppermint Candy Canes and with them disappearing from the local market shelves I thought I'd take a chance and buy them here. The arrived on time as promised. The problem is they seem stale. Like moisture has wicked into them. Also they taste off. Definitely not the Peppermint Sticks that I was looking forward to. Not worth the money, even though they are currently scare. Will not buy again. Was disappointed. Also the boxes were beat up and so far 50% of the Candy Canes are broken into pieces. After discussing this issue with the manufacturer Brachs it appears that the resaler purposely removed the lot number and information for freshness date from the boxes and sold expired merchandise. Fraudulent and deceptive practices. Very sad no refund is available.
