Fun to use, but won't break your heart should it get lifted or lost.
A very good, smart-looking, everyday fountain pen, and an excellent value for the price. The Nemosine Singularity's body is made in Taiwan. The nibs are made in Germany. Then the assembly and packaged is done in the US. There is a three year warranty on the pen. The pen comes in a small, simple, box, clearly marked with nib size, and above info, plus signed by the assembler. It doesn't really mean anything, but is a nice personal touch you usually find only on higher end products. Inside the box is the pen, a small (and hard to get out of the box) instruction booklet in plain English with very clear directions, and six international cartridges of pretty average blue ink. The included converter (impressive for a lower end pen) is inside the pen. The box is not particularly sturdy, but you're buying a $15 pen, not a collector's item. The feel is solid, and all parts fit well. When posted, the cap stays put, even if the pen is turned upside down and shaken. This is a heavier pen, so there is significant counterweight on the posted pen, but I happen to like that feel. The cap screws on/off with a smooth action. Case color (blue) is even and looks good against the silver trim. The color is bright enough to be interesting, but dressy enough that it won't embarrass you to pull it out in a meeting with an important client. Edited: 12-11-2014 Dropping down a star after experiencing problems with two other of the same pen. Still a decent pen for the price point, but not as enthusiastic about it now. Out of three pens, one works fine, one is so-so, and one failed to perform altogether. Not a good success rate in any product. The stainless steel nib is well made and moves smoothly across the page. I prefer a fine or Japanese medium nib, but there was no stock in fine nibs for the blue case. Since I didn't want to wait, I took a chance. This is a European medium, so not really the best fit for my writing, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with the nib itself. I'm not going to dock the rating since I knew what I was getting and got what I ordered. I have noticed a bit of a starting problem on initial upstrokes when using standard (cheap) paper, which is expected: fountain pen ink doesn't work well with cheap paper. On better paper, it writes well. On my best stationery, it was smooth as silk. I've not used the converter yet, but it looks pretty standard. I tend to just toss pens in my laptop case rather than use the clip, so can't attest to the clip integrity. It appears to have good tension. The end of the clip is pointed and a bit sharp, but I don't think it would cause a problem; it just wouldn't go in/out of a pocket as smoothly as if it had a ball tip on the clip end. I'm rating the pen based on quality of products at this price point only. Obviously, if it were compared to a Visconti or Montegrapp costing ten times more, it would suffer by comparison. For $15, however, it is an excellent value. And, at this price, if your notoriously pen-thieving friend or relative absconds with it, you won't have to mortgage the cat and kids to replace it.

Great pen; Looks, feels and writes great!
Was looking to buy a extra-fine tip fountain pen for a reasonable price and Nemosine did a great job! The pen looks and feels great and is on the light side, but not so light it feels like paper. The nib is great and has a very satisfying sound when you write with it, almost sounds like the pen is singing. The ink convert is huge and writes great with my Noodlers Ink however if you don't have any ink bottles or international size cartridges the pen comes with three free just to get you nib wet (terrible joke). IF YOU ARE NEW TO FOUNTAIN PENS I found this rather out of the ordinary but Nemosine seems to be one of the few companies that offers instructions for filling the ink well/ink cartridge and tips for cleaning the pen, great for beginners! You will also find a 3 year warranty on the back that says you only need to send $5 + the pen to cover shipping, testing, and fixing if for any reason the pen has trouble with flow, the pen is only $15 however its still better then pay another $15 for a new pen. All and all the pen is great and would definitely recommend it. I also included some pics of the pen if you are interested in seeing more of it, sorry for the inky-nib.

Cheap Build as the Price - No Ink Flow
I wasn't prepared for this quality. Most tall talks about German nibs etc are useless. Pen is dry. I have struggled a lot to clear the feed channel but no result. The nib setting is like hit or miss. The positions are not machine marked. You can move it or misalign it while putting back the nib and feed. The nib is scratchy. The tines are not aligned perfectly. So figure a dry pen with a scratchy nib. How would you like your purchase? After a lot of struggle today, the ink started a little better but not much and it is still scratchy. Moreover, the current setting does not look great as the feed is a little forwarded that it should be and it also set slightly misaligned. At some point I will probably run out of patience and drop it in the trash.

The pen writes fine, but every single cartridge exploded in the packaging as it was not handled properly nor stored correctly either. But I'll be using bottled ink with the converter it comes with anyways. I hope the seller reconsiders the packaging so that the pens don't get damaged.
