Satisfied overall!
Love the No Tox Dish Block! Of course, there are pros and cons to all products but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. I have been using it for about a week and am satisfied to keep using it. Pros are: good for the environment, smells clean like bar soap, lathers quite well with just a tiny amount, and it seems to rinse well. Cons so far: doesn't do so well with greasy stuff like pans and had to break out the liquid degreaser. It is a little messy like bar soap is and not sure about soap build-up yet in the sink but I think I can sacrifice a little to not use harsh chemicals! It's a winner in my book! edit: So, after using this product for over a month now, not sure if I want to continue. It just is not great on greasy stuff. I also don't like the build-up in the sink either now that I've been using it. It is a messy bar on your sink...I do still like that it has no toxic chemicals. I love it for my cutting board for sure! I feel the residue is great protection on the wood and degreasers strip the wood cutting boards. I also like washing vegetables with it rather than my liguid degreaser. I just wish it wasn't so messy overall! Of course the people that came up with this will say 'the best stuff ever' for you but they can use as much as they want with unlimited supply! At 10 bucks a bar in this day and time, it's pricey for the working poor!

Cleans most dishes.
We have hard water so it isn't as great on some glass items. If you have city water or soft water, these dish blocks clean amazingly well. Overall, I'm happy with the quality. They are made in America which is a plus. There's no overpowering scent. You just rub the dishcloth over the bar of soap and the suds last a long time.

Long-lasting. Great for daily dishwashing. Not a heavy hitter.
I've been using a single soap block for almost 2 full years, hand washing all my dishes. It has certainly lasted a LONG time. Before, I'd refill my 18oz liquid soap dispenser every 4 months or so. Gentle on my skin, fragrance free, and works as well as I want it to for cleaning when combined with hot water. I use a soap brush with this (not a sponge) and that's what I'd recommend for anyone who wants to try this out. This product does NOT cut through grease nearly as easily as most liquid dish soaps, even after moderate dilution (1-to-1 with water, or even 2-to-1 with water). For 90+% of my daily dishes, this product is more than enough, but when I have an oily Tupperware container, I'll use my backup liquid soap still. The experience of using this product worsens towards the end of its life. You are never going to evenly use up the block across its surface, which makes it very easy to punch a hole through the center of the block before it's done. This caused my block to break up into smaller pieces, which makes it harder to work with. I've adapted by using up each piece individually and that works fine. Additionally, its surface will accumulate grime unless cleaned regularly. A bit gross, but manageable. Overall, I think I'll probably buy another one once my current one runs out and keep it going.

So Happy With This Dish Bar
Great product simple ingredients! I won’t be going back to liquid dish soap. This bar lasts a very long time, lathers well, and cleans extremely well. Super happy with it

Only last 2 weeks
I bought it august 12th and it's already down 3/4 the way and it's only August 27th. It foams up and washes well but I can't keep buying a new bar every two or three week.

Very ideal for eczema.
I wanted to love this bar so bad when I first purchased it. It took a while to get the hang of using it at first but I found it to be so much easier to use a dish cloth rather than a scrub brush. I simply wet my dishcloth picked up the bar of soap and massaged it. It immediately created a lot suds that cleaned my dishes quickly and effectively, I do dishes three times a day so I let my dishes stack up and I only have to re lather about two times. I don’t like wasting water so I don’t fill my sink up instead I do a quick spray with my hose sprayer to wet the dishes and then rub them clean w the soapy cloth. I did try to do a small batch mixed with water as an option as well but I felt that the soap components separated within a couple of minutes and left my hands feeling greasy and my dishes as well so that was a hard no for me. I’ve been using the bar for 10 days now and it’s almost gone. I am WFH at the moment and my kids have been distance learning as well so as a huge family of 6 this dish block did get overworked in my opinion but I really wished the price per bar wouldn’t be an issue. I still have a few more days of use I assume so hopefully it can at least make it to three weeks of use. I did have days in which I had spots on my glass cups so I started drying my dishes immediately by hand and putting them away to avoid that but I also think that I probably didn’t reapply soap to my cloth because I was trying not to relather my cloth just for a glass cup that day and it goes back to what I assumed was the soap components separating. In the future when I reorder this product I will definitely go with the larger size block because the 6 oz bar will probably not last me for more than two weeks by the way it’s looking. Oh and as for the scent it has a very mild scent almost like the old school bar soaps but it’s more prominent when in use after you can’t even smell it on the dishes but I can smell it on my hands and they also feel moisturized after I’m done w dishes. I suffer from contact dermatitis and haven’t had an outbreak since using this product so that says a lot about it’s ingredients so I will definitely keep this bar soap on the top of my next purchase list after I go through the dish soaps I have now.

This stuff rocks!
Very impressed with this product. It's a large sized bar for a good price, but still fits in my dish caddy. It lathers very easily and gets my dishes clean. No scents or smells which I appreciate! :)
