Work great, although a bit touchy if you lightly hit the buttons without knowing. All in all a decent temperature gauge that’s reasonable in price.

Honestly, I haven't even cracked open the manual, so who knows what features I'm missing? I use it to monitor axle and rotor temperatures on my vehicles, and it's been awesome. It will also quite accurately take human temperature, although of course you should never let the Laser point hit someone's eyes.

It does what its supposed to. Temps products accurately without touching it. Backlight or not. F or C. Can change the visible laser size Easy to calibrate. Easy to use. Rugged enough to survive the occasional drop onto concrete.

I was really surprised to find a LASER temperature probe for less than $20 and it actually works and is accurate! I normally use name brand products because of their reputation. For this type of instrument, I use a Fluke at work often. I had debated whether to purchase a +$100 LASER meter or try this one. Boy am I glad I tried this one. It is very accurate. I used a calibrated temperature plate at work set to 160 F. to test. I was very surprised when it actually read the correct temperature. Of course, the reflectivity and distance to object you are measuring will have some effect (as it does with any thermal imaging or measuring device). ThermoPro is known for grilling type thermometers, not LASER temperature probes. But they have a good reputation in the grilling industry. Now I can say they have a great LASER temperature probe. It runs on 2 “AAA” batteries, easy and inexpensive to replace. They include batteries to get you started. For less than $20, this is an absolute deal.

Product is okay but contacting the seller and requesting an invoice is impossible. They dont reply at all.
