Best American poet of the 20th century. If you have not read Rexroth it is like never tasting moussaka. You are missing an important part of life.

As with all of Rexroth's translations, the poems here are well selected and vivdly translated. The collection is small, easily tucked away in a pocket or coat jacket to allow for the occasional verse to brighten an otherwise dull moment.
