I have 2 dogs that love going in and out no matter the season but I can't install a doggy door. This thing really holds back the cold, I only feel a slight draft from the bottom. Big save on gas bills. Dogs easily come and go. Install was relatively simple since door frame is nice and square, fit perfectly to the moldings. Tacks (included) were very helpful towards the bottom to stabilize the tape and velcro since this is where most pressure is applied by dogs running through. I installed during cold weather and velcro tape still stuck. Make sure to measure your door for appropriate size, the material is thick unlike the mesh screens and not as forgiving to folding to make fit.
