First, I WAS VERY UPSET the UPS did NOT notify me it was delivered. I waited and waited and days lat er I saw the package sitting on the floor of my mail box of my aprment complex. The previous items I ordreed was great. Amazon needs to pay attention to this. One deliver guy even took a picture when he dropped it at my door, not this time! The rack... Easy to assemble and looks sporty. Love it. I suggest you put a chain for reinforcement to protect your bike as its only has velcro straps but not a deal breaker. For the price its worth working with it. This was at first funky when it wobbled but somewhere I read that if you buy a U bolt with the bent plate you fix the whole problem. I went to Home Depot and found one in the Electrical Dep for $5.00. you set the plate to grasp your outer hitch area and then you tighten both screws (faceing down) and worked perfect, no wobbling and the whole rack began rigid and solid, safe to go anywhere. I am on a limited income so I needed something very innexpensive instead of a fancy brand name to show off or get it stolen but this does the job perfectly well. Its only me anyhow with my mountain bike but it can hold another bike well. I did run a heavy duty chain from the bike tires to the body frame under the hood and its a heavy duty chain Ive had for a long time, we live in a shitty world so you have to protect your things no matter how much they cost. My bike cost me $200 in Baja and has served me well but its priceless to me. I love my rack.

I got this for the price and wasn't expecting much. Putting it together is pretty simple, tightening the bolts is key. Ialmost gave up because I was tired and didn't want to mess with it. Took a breather and took the time to tighten each bolt, and it was worth it. After reading some other reviews, I made sure to bungee the wheels and also bungeed the body of the bike to the rack. I have a beach cruiser, so it didn't sit exactly right like a street bike or mountain bike would. I had a lot to move and forgot to take a picture of my bike on the rack, but it stayed put. I drove 70mph for 5.5 hours and it was in the same position when I arrived at my destination. Pretty impressive. Making sure all the nuts and bolts are tightened is really key to make sure it doesn't wobble excessively. And the pin you can take out so you can open your tailgate without removing the rack completely is an awesome feature. It also had straps to hold two bikes. My bike is pretty heavy and it geeks up well. I definitely recommend if you're on the fence.

Didn't fit my class 1 receiver had to cut a little bit of it off. Also the plastic square that covers the top came in broken. Might modify it later because if the screws for the end caps fall off the bike could fall off. I will probably end up using cotter pins

Bought this rack to go on my 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback and I am pleasantly surprised with it's build quality. There are a few "wish it had" items, but in all honesty I just needed something simple and straightforward for lugging my bike around. I suppose my only real complaint is that the bolt that attaches through the rack and the hitch feels way too long (probably an inch of overhang). I definitely would have preferred something shorter. There also seems to be a bit more sway than I care for when driving with it. I ended up buying something to help reduce it, but I wish that it fit a bit more snugly. The "wish it had" is adjustable arms that could go up or down depending on use. Just feels a bit awkward parking and such. I do recognize that it would have cost more if they had implemented something like that, but I would recommend taking it into consideration as more of a quality of life feature before making a final decision. Overall though I still give it 5 stars. It's well built and feels like it'll last a while and is suited to my needs. No regrets on the purchase. A few little items could use improvement, but nothing serious enough to make me drop a star.

I ordered this for a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport, with the tire and camera I had specifics that needed to be met. I needed to add an extender on the hitch, I chose the 6.25 inch extender as that is the shortest I could find. I actually only needed about 2 inches to get beyond the tire and camera. I also added a lock and anti rattle hitch tightener/stabilizer. The lock is probably pointless when the bike rack is installed as the bike rack bolt is a screw in bolt so I’m unable to lock that to the tow hitch. It’s crazy tight and safe I used a ratchet to be sure all the bolts were really tight. I added a video but this does not require any special skills 53 year old woman easy to assemble and install. Does not block the rear camera and with the stabilizer zero noise and almost no shake. Bike is a size small specialized rock hopper, I don’t feel a bike any smaller would fit, this is tight but fits.

Had this for a couple weeks now and it gets the job done hauling our 2 mountain bikes back and forth from the trails. It's not a horrible product, especially for occasional use, but I wish I had spent more on a better model. My main gripes are: 1) It fits a 2" trailer hitch, but the tongue (the part that connects to your hitch) is only about 1". So how does it connect? The 1" tongue is beefed up with hard plastic on 3 sides and the combined assembly goes into your hitch. Kludgy, huh? You'll notice that the hitch pin is threaded and you'll probably wonder WHY it is threaded, when every other hitch pin in the universe is smooth. The reason appears to be that, when screwed in and tightened, the hitch pin acts like a bolt, pulling the tongue (with its plastic spacer) tight against the hitch. If the pin is not screwed in all the way and tightened, the bikes will wobble. I even noticed, in the rearview mirror, the whole rack appear to bend in a concerning way as I went around a corner. So you've gotta tighten that pin. But doing so is a pain in the neck if you're putting the rack on and taking it off on a regular basis. 2) My second gripe is that the rack sits way too close to the car. At least it did to MY car ('23 Kia Sportage). The first time I used it, one of the bike pedals made a scratch on the car and when the handlebars turned sideways they tapped on the rear window. Not good! Here comes a piece of advice... get a 2" hitch extension. It solved both of the problems listed above. I got a 7" long extension for like 10 bucks here on Amazon, so now the bikes are 7" further away from the car, which is enough. What's more, I can now permanently tighten the hitch pin against the extension. Then, when I want to install or remove it, the whole thing, rack and extension together, can be connected to the car's hitch easy peasy. 3) My third gripe is less serious. The cups (or whatever they're called) that hold the bikes will rotate in place and invariably are pointed down, when they should be pointed up to receive the bikes. It's just a matter of rotating them around, but it's annoying. This is about the cheapest hitch mounted bike rack you're gonna find. I don't have another to compare it with, so I can't say if other options are worth more money or not, because they may have their own problems. This one is not horrible. Just be prepared to get a 2" hitch extension if you find your bikes hitting the car, and/or if that threaded pin becomes annoying.

I purchased this bicycle car carrier. I was able to convert the bicycle carrier to my wife's Rollator Walker. Doing this saved me close to $350; that's what a Rollator Walker car carrier would have cost. Nice heavy-duty steel.

We bought two e-bikes that weight about 45lbs each.... it was hard enough finding a hitch mount bike carrier under $300 to actually support that kind of weight (100lbs). Anyways, putting this thing together was easy, it installs pretty easily too. Some people complained about the threaded hitch pin, I actually like it. Tighten it snug and that will alleviate some of the swaying the bike rack is going to do. Which brings me to sway - yes this thing will sway a little. As far as I can tell, there is no avoiding it. Make sure you position the bikes so that NONE of it will rub against your bumper/liftgate/trunk/camper/etc otherwise, your bike wheels may eventually make contact with your vehicles finish. So be careful there. Also, yes, reading the reviews, I agree the "end caps" are hastily installed; do your self a favor and right off the bat inspect the screws that hold them onto the frame. Check them periodically. If those end caps fail, your bikes go bye-bye as they will fall off onto the interstate. I can clearly see what other reviewers are talking about. Taking those small issues, I have traveled with this bike rack and our 2 e-bikes several times and have not had any issues, knowing what I stated going into it. I think its a nice bike rack for the money. It seems like it will last a while too.

Easy to install, l got small issue for my bike because its xs frame size, but it can be manage somehow, overall its great handle and worth for offered price, Thank you.

I wanted to wait until I had to use this a few times before I pass judgment, but I have to say wow I found it simple to put together the rack looks to be well made, I have a Ford Escape that I've had to take it off and put on different times for road trips and I found it quite easy to put on and remove and I love that it has a lever that you can lower the bar so you can still open up the hatch without having to affect anything. Just the way the bikes hang they do bounce a little bit but I found no reason to be concerned about them tied to the back. I have also taken it off roading with quite rough roads and have held up really well.
