Why can’t I use the full 500W from the cigarette lighter?

Safety limitation – not a product defect. Vehicle cigarette lighter circuits are designed for 150W max (typically 10A–15A at 12V). To get full 500W: Connect the inverter directly to the battery using the included battery clamps

Can I use a laptop + phone together? Can I use all 2 AC + 2 cigarette sockets at the same time?

Yes, but total power is shared. From cigarette lighter plug → max 150W total. From battery clamps → max 500W total.

Can I run a mini fridge / compressor cooler?

No. Two reasons Inductive motor needs 3-7x startup surge (exceeds limit). Modified sine wave is not suitable for fridge compressors.
