The Phone Holder Made for PM5 Monitors has become an indispensable companion during my rowing sessions. It effortlessly secures my phone, providing stability even in the midst of a rowing frenzy. Its perfect fit feels so OEM that I once forgot to remove it from the gym rowing machine, and it was still there two days later. The holder not only enhances my rowing experience but also seamlessly integrates into the equipment. This accessory allows me to use live apps for racing, adding a competitive edge to my workouts. It holds my phone in place very securely, and simply slots on top of a PM5. I was worried it might fall off when I started rowing, but it’s very secure and doesn’t budge even when I’m going all out! The material is a very durable high quality rigid silicone. Although it’s quite expensive for what it is, I’d highly recommend this to anyone who uses their phone while rowing. (I originally purchased the Concept2 phone holder, but it down’t fit “Max” size iPhones. This product CAN hold an iPhone 11 Pro Max (with a silicone case fitted too)).

The only problem with this device is that it may not be suitable to all phones as it my press on the volume buttons on the side. Otherwise good product.

As seen in Shane Farmer's videos on the "Dark Horse Rowing" YouTube channel, this was my first choice when looking for a phone holder to use with a Concept 2 Row Erg rowing machine. Having recently bought a new phone, I wanted to start using Concept 2's Erg Data app to capture and track my rowing sessions at the gym. The holder easily fits on top of the PM5 monitor and comfortably holds my phone in place. The neon yellow / green colour is a also striking contrast on the eye (other neon and matte colours are available.)

This certainly fits on the PM5 monitor and does the job. However, it can only hold the phone in one position so you may not be able to tilt the screen to avoid reflected glare. The material itself is flexible, with stiffness in the holding armature. How robust this will be long term I will find out. I prefer the design of the original holder over this replacement.

When I placed on the PM5 I thought it felt a little loose, as in easy to remove. However, once my phone was in there the top pushes back making the fit snug. You can tell it isn't going to fall off and the phone will not fall out. A little pricy maybe but does the job perfectly.

Used on rower and skierg. Works well. A little nicer than the standard Concept 2. A little splash of colour too in lime green!

I've ordered 2, no idea what happened to the first one (rowing machine at my office so maybe someone pinched it). It's a great fit for the concept 2 machine and a better height than the inbuilt phone holder.

Il supporto è in silicone rigido pertanto risulta robusto e nello stesso tempo flessibile. Al tatto è morbido e il colore è azzeccatissimo..almeno non te lo perdi nella borsa della palestra. Molto utile per visualizzare i dati aggiuntivi dell'app ErgData o per vedere qualche video durante i workout lunghi. Piccola nota: inizialmente non riuscivo a collegare il pm5 con lo smartphone samsung attraverso ergdata poi gira e rigira sui vari forum sono riuscito a farlo e funziona egregiamente. Quello che bisogna fare è: aggiornare il pm5 allultima versione del firmware presente sul sito..tamite apposito programma da scaricare sul pc. Scaricare einstallare ergdata sul cellulare. Attivare bt e posizione ma NON E DICO NON abbinare pm5 e cellulare dal menù bt. Avviare ergdata e fare ricerca di pm5 dalla app. Se aul pm5 appare collegato e sulla app appare in basso la scritta in verde che siete collegati..è fatta! Buona vogata!

I purchased a concept 2 rower and did not read the fine print. They now come with a cell phone holder. I still prefer this one as its not hard plastic like the included one. holds my pixel better than the concept 2 one. Also I find when I take my phone out of the concept 2 one it tends to take the whole holder off the machine. This one being a softer material allows me to bend it out and it doesn't detach from the machine. This one doesn't push my side volume buttons either which is good. All in all, prefer this holder vs the concept one.

Lo tengo puesto en el monitor de mi Concept 2 y va perfecto con un móvil más bien grande, no se mueve nada y todas las teclas quedan libres. Muy buen producto

Got this after seeing it on Dark Horse Rowing. I was always clumsy about where my phone was during a rowing session, especially with the follow along videos. Was under the impression that a phone holder is a phone holder is a phone holder. Glad to have been proven wrong with that. The silicon material is an absolute win, and doesn't feel like it is going to break like the plastic holders. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but I am glad I went with this one and would really highly recommend it.
