Waiting for the Moon: A Novel

It was a good read. Dated back in the late 1800's, the story line was pretty good.

Love, love this plot!! Unique locations and I rooted for the characters, all of them!! So unusual!!

I liked the premise of this story but it wasn't what I expected; the doctor's transformations weren't realistic and I wish the Selena character had gotten more of her memory back so that the doctor wasn't having relations with an emotional child. The Elliott guy at the end annoyed me and he said at one point he felt attraction to Selena but not now, like when? When she was 12 when he married her???? I was surprised the fisherman never came back and told them that Selena had tried to kill herself, maybe then the last part of the story could have been avoided with her having to leave and the book wouldn't have dragged on the way it did. I was irritated and annoyed a lot but it was a feel good story I guess. I didn't put the book down and read it in 48 hours so 3 stars but I won't be reading this author again!!
