Zoo Tycoon 2 Ultimate Collection PC

I bought this game HOPING against all hope that it would work on Windows 10. To my great relief (and my six year old's as well) the game has worked flawlessly. I'm currently on the latest Windows 10 build and the game works great. I was completely wrecked when I found my first copy of this game (purchased as a high school student) was scratched beyond repair. My six year old LOVES that game, and when the CD was scratched it wrecked his whole world. Purchased this for *his birthday (*I like to play too) and he has it running almost constantly. Pro-tip for all you parents out there: if you let your six year old breed an army of 2500 ostriches, it will crash the game. If you find you can live without 2500 ostriches, the game should go very well! I would recommend using a graphics card with at least a gig of memory. I'm using the GTX750 and everything runs well!

It's in good condition and works well

I'm a college student; and I bought this game when I was home sick during winter break; It was something I remembered playing when I was little and I still love it, it's so much fun. The best part of being an adult so far is being able to buy things like this great impulse buy A+It's almost time for summer break and I'm still building Jurassic parks and marine shows and saving endangered animals well into spring. A simple game mindless game like this has helped relieve the stress of finals week hahaIf you played this game when you were younger, you would love it still. However, it's an older game and so the graphics are not like the games out now, I feel as though a young child now might be bothered by that, or become bored with it easily.

This game includes loads of short scenarios for those of us who like to finish what we start, but maybe don't have the whole day on that particular day. My only gripe is that there's never any question about the politics of keeping animals in zoos at all or even such thinks as "swim with dolphin" rides--you'd think some protesters could show up if conditions got particularly bad. For Microsoft, this is an unusually good product.

Despite the glitches, Zoo Tycoon 2 has aged well and remains one of my top favorite games. I mostly love it for the nostalgia, but it's still the best animal sim that I've played. Quick FYI for anyone buying, the package does have a large section of non-English so it LOOKS like it's not English, but the game is in English (which I believe you can change anyway). You can also get some installation errors when you first install, but just put the first disc in and keep trying to reinstall, and it'll get there eventually (there's no manual as it says in the description, but you shouldn't need one; it installed completely on my second try but for some it can take longer). It also does work on more recent versions of Windows (I'm on 7, but I know it works for 8 and 10). Some scenarios also won't complete occasionally, so you'll have to restart them. Those are known game glitches, not the discs. Otherwise, game was packaged well and works perfectly. No scratches, etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone that loves animals or sims.

Didn't have the marine mania tank building feature. Pretty disappointed

The game arrived with no issue, brand new in the shrink wrap. It comes with three discs for the installation process.The preview image is slightly misleading, as it shows the back insert in full English while the product you receive features Dutch and English, but this is of no real concern seeing as both the installation and game itself runs entirely in English.The game installed without a hitch and has presented no issues in my game play (the initial tutorials the game prompts you with upon opening) on Windows 10.As a lover of the original Zoo Tycoon, this purchase was inevitable and having already owned the basic Zoo Tycoon 2, I know that Ultimate Collection will only improve my enjoyment and was well worth the investment.

I'm having the same issue as the other reviewers; my game does not have a tank construction tab or biomes for marine animals. The marine mania portion of this game is unplayable. There are tanks and marine animals that were premade in the campaign game but no option for creating new tanks. It looks like they forgot to include those files on these disks.

My favorite game... I like the Ultimate Edition more as it includes all the expanion packs as well as the dino danger online pack

It give a amazing gameing experience and unlike other zoo tycoon CD we do not want to keep CD inside computer whenever we play it
