I have been looking for a quality checkbook cover for awhile. I actually bought another one because this one had so many reviews stating it wouldn't close with both checks and register inside. The one I bought was way to bulky and the leather was very stiff. I ended up returning that one and bought this one. I'm so glad I did. The leather is very soft and flexible, sturdy enough that I know it will last a long time. As far as it not closing, it closes just fine with both checks and a register, add a regular pen and not so much. I thin pen is OK. It's a soft leather so if you want your favorite pen in this with your checks close your pen inside and keep it closed with a rubber band for a couple days it will stretch and form to the pen and Stay closed without the rubber band in no time. I attached a picture of it closed with a new pad of standard checks (50 checks) and a new premium register (48 pages) to show it does stay closed on it own.If yourb looking for a quality checkbook cover that, literally, won't fall apart at the seam, you found it.

Terrible product, first off it smells so bad upon opening the package. Also this product is advertised as a cheque book except none of the pockets and even fit a single cheque in it.. it too small to fit anything and therefore completely useless
