In this book, you will find insightful and concise answers to 35 tough questions about God, Christianity and the Bible, such as: - Who created God? - Why did God create people knowing they will end up in hell? - Why is there so much evil in this world? - Can I live a good moral life without God? It is the culmination of 15 years of Christian Apologetics (defending the Christian faith) and youth ministry. Review: Read this book, even if you’ve read other apologetics books. - This is a beautifully written book that explains the core tenants of the Christian faith in a very approachable and understandable way. It presents evidence, logic, and sound reasoning for why any human being (Christian or not) can confidently confess that the triune God is real, that the person Jesus Christ is truly God in the flesh, and that the Bible is a truly divinely-inspired text. What I know about the author: George Bassilios has been lecturing on this and other Christian topics for more than 3 decades. He currently travels the world, giving lectures and attending Christian conventions attended by young and old alike, helping and arming them with answers to difficult questions about the Christian faith. Before reading this book, I was told it was an introduction to Christian Apologetics, i.e., the first book one could read about the defending the faith. So I was naturally a bit skeptical that it would benefit me personally since I have already read various Christian apologetics writings by Ravi Zacharias, Nabeel Qureshi, and others. However, to my surprise, George Bassilios provides valuable insight through a slightly different lens than other apologetics authors, making it just as interesting to read as when I first encountered these topics. Further, he provides new commentary and insights that I had never heard before, including those through the lens of the Apostolic Tradition and the Orthodox Church: this was a pleasant surprise, and a necessary one for those looking for that perspective. Bassilios's uplifting and joyful personality shines through this book. He doesn't just present the facts, but accompanies it with a writing style that provides the necessary conviction to convince even the harshest skeptics. He keeps you excited to read on and continue to learn. As cliché as it sounds, reading this book very often provided a warm feeling of comfort and joy, confirming that my Christian faith, having been doubted countless times in my life, was truly the right one. I honestly felt my faith was significantly strengthened after I was done reading this book. Another great reason to buy this book over other 101 Christian apologetics books: the chapters are short and to the point, and quite independent of the other chapters. This allows one to skip around to a more relevant topic if needed. I read it cover to cover and highly recommend doing that, as well. Review: Great book one for parents - It's a great book! Specially of you are a parent for teenagers, you have all the proper (non-lazy ones :D)answers for their questions.

Essential to knowing the why behind our faith
I love the simplicity of this book that answers tough questions making good for all ages. My daughter started reading it in second grade when she was approached by a boy from an atheist family who told there’s no such thing as God. After reading this she was able to answer him. I strongly encourage everyone to have a copy for themselves and their children
