I needed to remove the old Chattahoochee at my entrance to install new pavers and didn't want to place new pavers on something that had cracks and pitch's, so I started to remove the ch by a concrete chisel and sledgehammer, boy was that very daunting task. I went to one of the majors Big Box hardware stores to rent a hammer jack and their website advertised for the cart and chisel together. Thought when I arrived, they were separate charges, however they were already packaged together... being annoyed on being deceived, only rented just the jackhammer for 4 hours as I really wanted to finish the small area I started. Well ran out of time so I returned the rental. I was exhausted for 2 days afterwards. really didn't want to start again with the hand and chisel method, so searched online and found this on amazon. BOY what a "game changer" in so many ways... it was much lighter than the rental, and also came with the tools to chisel out the epoxy rocks, all packaged neatly in a case to store when not in use. The best part was the AOBEN 1-1/4 Inch SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Drill costs less than a 4-hour rental. Smaller, lighter and much more efficient in completing my task, and I now own an awesome Rotary Hammer Drill so many other projects I plan to do in the future. The reviews posted on Amazon were go so thought they all couldn't be wrong, and they weren't. Rule of thumb....when you finish using a tool really clean it down so it will last much longer. It covers what's expected - great drill, great hammer drill, and more importantly jackhammer! The hammer drill with the weight and handle behind your hold has amazing drilling capabilities. Was able to go into concrete and solid stone with no problem whatsoever - honestly, I was blown away. I've had some smaller versions of a hammer drill that really haven't produced - this one is like having the power of Thor in your hands. It's not too big and overwhelming but has enough power and weight to get most jobs done with no problem. The extras that come with this kit are 3 drill heads, 2 jackhammer plungers, and extra head, and an amazing case that has plenty of storage. Also comes with an additional 2 brush heads for the motor and lubrication oil and the head exchange wrench. Pros: - This thing is perfectly weighted in your hand whether pointing to the ground or hold straight out. Nice balance, they worked hard to make it feel great. - The power and control of the trigger are great - All of the different modes work amazing - The case is really well built - The machine feels well-built but not to heavy Cons: - It could've come with eye protection but maybe I'm over thinking this - if you're buying this, you're more than likely a pro or already have protective wear. For sure wear eye protection, I've actually found that wearing my shooting headphones is necessary when jacking up concrete - nothing unexpected there. For the money you can't go wrong - I was second guessing as soon as I hit the buy button for the cost of this hammer drill - glad I have it in my arsenal of tools now for sure. Bought this tool for one purpose, one project and was scared whether it would survive because it was the cheapest, I could find. To my surprise, not only did it perform perfectly, but appears will last for several projects. One thing to note, the instructions sucked regarding loading a tool into the unit. It took me some time to figure it out as the actions required in no way resembles the instructions. Simply push the chuck all the way down, insert tool until it clicks, then release. The tool is locked in place at this point. I was not able to adjust the position of my chisel, so had to hold the unit in an awkward position to get the right angle of attack. Rated this a 4 because the price makes me think it won't last near as long as a quality brand, but is great if you only need it for a couple or projects.

This thing is an absolute monster! After spending 30 minutes getting only 1” into a 4” 8mm hole that I needed with my 18v Ryobi hammer drill, I decided to see if a corded one would work better. This thing did all 8 holes I needed in about 5 minutes. Quit wasting your time and just get this thing to get your work done! It’s fairly quiet too.

I bought this in early 2025 for fifty five dollars and for that price I have no complaints at all. I primary use it for chipping concrete and have used it for many hours doing only that. It gets very hot but so far, it keeps going. I've got a Bosch model that costs about 12 times the price but for chipping I don't like to use it because of how hot it gets, so bought this one to take its place, it breaks the concrete as fast as the Bosch does. The Bosch one has better vibration reduction than this drill but other than that, this one does just as good. I see the current price is double what I paid in early 2025 so for that reason I might currently buy another brand drill that looks identical and try it. Like most Chinese stuff, there are many selling the same tool with another name printed on it but they all come from same place. I would recommend this drill if your willing to pay the current price but, look at others that are identical looking at half the current price.

I have to pin into bedrock, and the rental options around me made me take a chance on this tool. I am amazed. Cheaper than I could have rented it for the weekend, I now have a machine that can CARVE through freaking BEDROCK. This thing has a speed that rivals my battery powered tools in dense wood. It is legit. I will say, as have others, that the instruction manual is garbage. It is incredibly important that you supplement that manual with...well, this amazon page is more useful. As others have said, you DO NOT use "oil". Use general-purpose, high-temperature, lithium-based grease - it is fairly cheap. Open the grease cap on top of the tool with the special wrench and make sure that it is full. BEFORE EVERY USE, check to make sure the chamber is topped up. As a bonus, use a little grease on the end of the SDS bits to make sure that they slide in and out of the tool easily without getting jammed. If you're a weekend warrior like me, you'll also want to know that there are actually TWO switches to turn on hammer mode - one of the side near the front, and one near the trigger. Both need to be on "hammer/drill" to actuate the hammer function. Why? Who knows, but that information would have saved me 30 minutes of being puzzled.

It's good for small job, it has been very handy, its worth of money. it dose the job done.

I have drilled over 100 (yes one hundred) 5/8 holes, 6 inches deep in solid rock. Went through 4 bits! (Dewalt and Milwaukee bits).. the Aoben drill motor unit itself is still doing fine. Keep grease in it.. Amazing value, actually hard to believe. If you need a hammer drill of this size buy it. It works as well as a $2,500 Hilti . Maybe it won't last as long as the Hilti, but for a non commercial user, you just can't go wrong.
