I went to my local hardware store which surprisingly enough sold the adhesive but NO TOOLS! It is in these moments that I cherish and worship this thing called Amazon Prime...!I selected this kit because, well, it had everything needed. I almost bought a sponge as well, but decided I spent enough on paper and adhesive that I should make do with a household sponge since it was only 1 wall I was working on.The kit arrived well-packaged, undamaged, and with everything you see in the picture. The smoothing brush is a great size, and despite the "firmness" of the bristles it did not damage my wallpaper at all. The seam roller was my lifesaver tool though - and the more times I had to pick it up, the happier I was to have it. I attempted to use the paste brush (the narrower of the 2 brushes), but found the stiff bristles did not spread the adhesive evenly enough and I ended up more or less with rapidly drying glue and extreme frustration in not being able to stay ahead of it. I ditched the brush and used a small paint roller instead (THAT was awesome). And of course the enclosed snap-blade razor and straight edge were crucial to trimming the paper in all the required edges. The blade was sharp, snapped off easily with the assistance of a pair of pliers, and the straight edge (looks like a galvanized steel triangle) was a small and perfect size to work with.What I like about each of the tools is that all are small enough so that if you are wearing a tool belt/bag, everything can fit and be within arms reach. I wore jeans, and simply shoved everything (except the glue brush) into my various pockets while working.There are tools you use once and chuck because there is no point in keeping them (either quality or simply such an odd tool to have), and there are tools you hang onto as a "just in case"... while I chucked the glue brush since I never bothered to attempt to clean it, I am quite partial to the remaining pieces and have happily made a home for them in my toolbox. For the price I paid, what I received, how well it worked, and even in chucking out a portion, this purchase was a steal! Bought individually, most wallpaper tools run $6+ EACH, so the 2 brushes and seam roller alone would be nearly $20. I went to home depot and lowes and paid twice as much for "make shift supplies" as they had no actual kit. The employee told me "people don't wallpaper anymore."
