These feel like they're cheaply made but it does work! It sends a strange sensation through your thumb. I think they'll be fun stocking stuffers for my middle school son and nephew. I received three instead of two. All three shock but only two actually work like a real pen. I recommend for a fun gift for easily impressed/dramatic people. 😁👍

They don't work. I had gotten them because people steal my pens at work. I put it in my work station and saw someone using it outside my work station. They only have about a quarter inch of ink in them. But this person was able to click it and use like a regular pen. I took it and clicked it... nothing. So disappointing. I would have returned them but my window had closed. Don't waste your money. Maybe spend the same amount but for one single pen of better quality. The second one I tried to use the tip fell off and won't go back on. I'd have to glue it to keep it together. I haven't tried the third pen. These are so cheaply made. I don't know why they even bother producing something of such low quality. Honestly I wouldn't pay even $1 for the three. They are garbage.

My son bought these with the money he got for his birthday, and they have been really funny to watch. The shock isn't overpowering or painful at all; it is just enough to give a quick, funny surprise. We have had them for a couple of weeks now, and he has already used them on everyone in the family. They have held up great so far and seem pretty durable. I'm honestly not sure what the total battery life is going to be like, but they are still going strong, and I will keep everyone posted if that changes.

I ordered a few sets of these for joking with co-workers. Some pens worked better than others, some didn't work at all. Really a mixed bag of results. The ones that worked well were great, the ones that kind of worked were disappointing. They were cheap but still hoped for better results than I got. If you've got a few bucks order a couple of packs and find the ones that work best.

Don't waste your money. All three didn't work when arrived and they sent three more. Two of the three worked, but the shock was so minimal I had to sit there with the button pressed and had to concentrate whether it was giving me a shock or now. Barely noticeable. Don't know why it's so difficult to find one of these that are quality. Don't bother here...

One was more powerful than the other. I wish you could replace the battery.. but!, worth it 👍
